Safest way to RWT Gold on EOC?

What's the safest way to buy gold on EOC? Or more specifically.. to transfer it from the seller to your account?

I know that most sellers have mules which hold the gold, if I traded a substantial amount off a lvl 3 mule, very likely to get banned, if I won a fight in the duel arena against a lvl 3 mule.. also very likely to get banned so.. what is the safest way to transfer gold?

 

Not trade a gold seller that uses a mule, perhaps?

 

I think Nick is right. I've been looking into how to RWT safely for weeks and I've come to the conclusion that almost nobody actually knows how to do it. In fact it seems like the more you do to avoid a ban, the more you're setting yourself up to get banned. Jagex looks for suspicious behavior like that. If you're just trading a normal account that has no suspicious behavior associated with it, there's no chance of getting banned. It's not possible for Jagex to determine the difference between a normal player selling 50m gp to someone vs. that player donating 50m gp to someone.

EDIT: I could, of course, be wrong. Be sure to do lots of research if you value your account. These are my conclusions, but I'm not going to be stupid and say it's for sure correct information. Good luck!

 

Exactly. What I've been doing with EOC is having strict account trading limits, actually play on those accounts that sell my gold, and use different IP addresses for each account. That's the best strategy for sellers, at least.

 

Often, the best way to hide something is to hide it in plain sight.

Hmm fair enough, but how often do you get two accounts that log into the same world randomly trade each other and give huge amounts of gold?

 

Player Auctions is where many ACTUAL NORMAL players go to sell/buy gp. I've had many friends sell and buy on there, never heard of any issues with it. Is it slower? Yes. If you want to make sure you're selling to normal players, you can't put a super low price. But I think it's worth it. No reason to be in a rush unless you need the money for an IRL emergency.

As for randomly trading players and giving away huge amounts of gold, all the time. Believe it or not, there are generous players on RuneScape! Also, friends sometimes give each other money. (And if it's a friend's mule or alternate they don't necessarily have to have each other added on their friends lists.) It's not uncommon at all. If you're afraid of both accounts just logging on and trading right away, make sure you've been online for maybe half an hour before the trade. Then I doubt it would matter whether the other person has just logged on.

Also, I'm a newby here as you can see by my post count. I'm sure there are plenty of normal players you can sell to here on Sythe as well. By normal, I mean those that aren't large trusted stores. So there's certainly a risk associated with that, but Sythe seems to have a lot of great prevention methods for that. Middlemans and all.

Stake it through Conquest, as the match does not depend on combat level but statistical play. Just play fairly against yourself and then lose on the last few moves or something

 

Don't buy gold. I have never had to buy gold on any account I use, at this point it's safer just botting skills and selling your botted supply's for gold than actually buyin it from someone.

 

Yeah when I buy I make sure it's an account that someone has actually used have never been banned yet and I have been doing it for a while so it seems to pretty efficient

Just don't use a suspicious account.

 

if you dont bot constantly and you dont sell gold (not much activity trade wise)
you'll most likely be safe.
