Odd question regarding the hacked skypes

So, I did a trade with Busta for 5M 07GP, or who I thought was busta - and It ended up being Busta3o5 instead of 305.

But what baffles me is when I asked this Busta3o5 (Skype) for a PM, the real Busta305 had PMed me, and therefor I figured it was a legit trade. So, my real question is - could it have been that Busta scammed me? I don't see how else anyone could have accessed his Sythe to PM me while I was speaking to a "Fake" Busta account unless he himself was using it.

The PM he sent me while I was talking to him - [IMG]

The PM he sent me after I Pmed him asking why he scammed me -

My overall point for this is regardless of what Skype he was on, Busta305 or if I was actually talking to a scammer on Busta3o5 - How the hell did I get a PM from the real busta, if it wasn't him I was talking to on Skype? I would figure if I received a PM a minute after I asked for one, it would actually be him and therefore that means he actually did scam me.

I'm just confused and would like to hear other peoples opinions on the matter.

    Thanks!

The impostor was probably talking to the real Busta, pretending to be you, so that'd he'd PM you and you would think the impostor you were talking to was legit because the real Busta got fooled into sending a pm.

Odd question regarding the hacked skypes

It's a common, confusing method of impersonation. The 'scammer' will create a fake busta and a fake you. Ask busta to PM you, claiming it's him, and you'll receive the PM just after you ask for a PM from "busta". It's confusing to get your head round but it happens quite a lot.

To avoid it, ask for a copy of the conversation in the PM - if it doesn't match up with the conversation you're having then terminate the trade. Use of a middleman can help considerably, no matter how trusted the user is. Refusal of a middleman, or more so an official middleman, is pretty sketchy behaviour and not something a legitimate user would do.

Always check the name that they say in the PM, as all large traders will say their skype in the PM so they can't be liable for imposters using them to an advantage.
