    Tribot on my server

    Hi,

Can anybody assist me in installing Tribot on my dedicated server? I seem to be encountering issues since when I run one instance of the bot client, it uses about 50% CPU so there is something wrong with my installation.

I couldn't find any guides on the installation process, so I had to use WINE since I'm not too familiar with Linux.

My current OS is Ubuntu with XFCE desktop but I can install to any other OS needed.

Please add me on MSN for further help: [email protected]

    Thanks!

    Install Java 7
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

    Download and run tribot
    wget -O tribot.jar http://tribot.org/download.php
    java -jar tribot.jar

    Tribot on my server

Thanks!! I just need a desktop and Java and tribot client to run tribot right?

Would you be able to post the installation for XFCE (I assume that's the most lightweight desktop available, if there is a more lightweight one, please post the installation for that instead)

    Thank you so much!

Not sure about XFCE and VNC; you'll have to Google that one or ask your VPS provider to set it up.

Also small correction, it's "java -jar" not "jar -jar". :)

Just a little tip, you can use Http://FragVPS.Com (By Grave) and you can purchase a VPS Package with TriBot already installed.

    Thanks again Reflector.

Also thanks Joey, but I already have a dedicated server, just having issues with the installation at the moment.
