This. I earned probably 150 vouches from small questing orders then stopped. I now do huge $100+ transactions (mostly website orders/consultations), and don't even ask for vouches anymore. They're not useful to me at all.

I don't judge you by your vouches at all.

You might be right, you might be wrong. If you think that way, be it. I don't have any intention to scam. Scamming is useless. You scam once, and you're done. If you stay legit, you earn more. Logic.

Maybe I have not known him. Yes I do realized 20-30 upgrades in a day and you can get a lot of vouches in a few weeks. Besides I am not comparing him to anyone or anything. I did not even state that I'm more trustworthy than him.

But for one thing I know, when someone is a higher rank than me, I regard them as trusted in my eyes. Farcast, you may not have a lot of vouches but I know one thing you are trusted.

I don't judge by vouches anymore tbh. I just by personality and reputation, which sometimes does have a lot to do with vouches. For example R2P and Grave have a lot of vouches, and very good reputations, well known ect, them I trust. However a upgrade seller with 500 vouches whom I have never heard of, and he does nothing besides sell upgrades I don't trust. Same goes for an inactive member of 3 years with 200 vouches. Also it isn't really hard to tell when people are not legit by a conversation on MSN/Skype. I can pretty easily tell who I trust after a conversation on Skype.

You never trust anyone you don't know over the internet, regardless of how well known they may be.

I wasn't asking for your opinion on my trustworthiness. All I was trying to say was that, how can someone deem another trustworthy just because he has 150+ vouches.. I could accumulate that amount of vouches within weeks, easily.
My opinion is that trustworthiness is deemed by:
    A) Amount of high end vouches, from reputable members or large trades.
    B) How active and well known a member is within the community
    C) Their personality

I would never, ever deem someone trustworthy just because they have 150+ vouches. And how he phrased it, he seemed he was implying that if someone had any less than that, you shouldn't trust them.. That is bias.

Also, I never mentioned a donor rank so I don't know where you pulled that one from.
So, in regards to what you were saying, I don't understand how you, yourself, would deem another person trustworthy? So, if you don't go by how active, well known or join date, presumably you only go by ones vouches? Bias again. Don't take it to heart.

I never proclaimed to be an old fag.. I know I'm new to this forum.

Different people have different views like I said in my post. So it is up to themselves to judge who are trusted for them and who are not.

Just my point of view ya know.

That's true, I shouldn't preach my perspective to yourself. But at the end of the day, I guess it's up to the user to decide who is trustworthy and who is not.

Always ask for a PM, and also just because someone is a Newcomer doesn't mean instantly turn away from them. Yes , some of them are scammers but the ones who are legit have to start from somewhere so if you see newcomer, just ask for a pm and simply say you'd like an MM/OMM or for them to go first!

You're right, about my current thread, which is around 11 or something. I had a previous vouch thread.

4600 posts in 6 years is absolutely nothing.

All of you are saying that the number of vouches don't matter. But I am required to get them to remove my TWC...LOL This community cracks me up sometimes.

If you are talking to an Imposter, you will get scammed.
If you request a PM and can confirm the trusted users identity,
    You shoudn't have a problem

Exactly, I never even kept vouches. but I have bought and sold over like 10 runescape accounts when i was into that plus i bought/sold some SSGP before and never got scammed once.

I suggest that you just do increments with people that seem trustworthy (check the vouches they have too, see if there's an obvious fake). And have them go first. Sorry to hear you've had a pretty bad experience so far.

Collect proof from future trades showing that they did in fact scam you so that you can get rid of them from the community forever. You will run into good people that you can always go to for services and will find which faces are trustworthy and which are face as hell. Everyone gets scammed when they start. Just make sure it's them through pm on the site thus showing proof just in case they do scam you. Sorry I said a lot of the same things over and over again, my mind is just bouncing everywhere.
