A question about this site.

I am sort of new to this site (I have a made a couple transactions though) and I cannot find an explanation on the whole 'banned' images/badges underneath people's names. I really do not want to get banned myself for this thread in case this is in the wrong area of the site, but I cannot find a FAQ or any sort of beginner's thread. Anyway, I just thought I would ask because it confuses me how someone can be banned but can comment/ask for trades on this forum. Thanks for any help.

The banned status you're referring to is because after someone is banned, their posts remain visable
