Also, out of 6 years, we only have 2 bans. One was Justin using a script to see how long it would take to get banned with static points and the such, and another was someone using a bad script to test how long it would take in LRC. Get your facts straight.

Im talking about 07 scape retard. You've linked me to a EOC script which obviously has its developers more experienced. I think it is you that needs to get your facts straight and also, check if you're eyes can read straight as well. Read the whole damn post before pointing out something utterly useless and out of question towards what I was talking about.

As you can tell it's not very active, and most of the posts are just about news of OTHER people getting banned for using different bots/methods/etc.
Simba has an EXTREMELY low banrate.

Simba is a 100% open source and free. We encourage all people to practice and learn to script. Sure, some scripts made by the newer people are not as well written than those by more experienced people, but they are making the scripts for free for the community's benefit. Sure we have a lot of scripts that aren't the best but they at least someone if there making scripts for free for the community and trying to help out, over time they will learn and get better.
At SRL we are big about failsafes, even for new people, so if anything does go wrong the failsafe is activated, and your account is logged out safely.
At least these first time scripters are TRYING and releasing scripts for free use, and not wasting their time bashing other bots.

We still do have lots of great stable scripts out there too written by very experienced coders. These will easily run for a long time and stably with no problems.

Well it's not as easy to make the more complex scripts using color, or many of the more farming related scripts are located in the higher up boards so gold farmers do not abused them.


I don't understand why you are complaining about a very safe, 100% free, 100% open source bot with an amazing and constantly growing community where teaching and learning to code is one of our highest priorities.
Have you made your own bot, have you tried to write any of your own scripts, are you ding anything to help and aid the botting community?

I'd take a step back and try to appreciate the things provided to you for free and other people's hard work before bashing it.

Sure java/injection/reflection bots are a lot more stable and easy to code for, but Simba has always been free and working for any version of RS.

You mentioned 07 scape.. once, I believe. You then proceed to insult everyone at our forums that programs/scripts. I've tested some of the 07 scripts myself, with both includes, and they work fine. Even the not-as-good ones.

You need to ask questions instead of making assumptions based on your own inexperience.

 

Could you state an example of stable scripts that would be able to run for hours flawlessly on 07? I have tried a couple of scripts and they simply do not meet the standards of a good script (especially the flax picking scripts)

I understand that botting on 07 is fairly new and yes as a matter of fact I am reading threads and doing my research on script writing to try and contribute to the site.

You seem very skilled at this as I have seen your tutorials on the subject, would you think it would be possible to create a script that runs laws/natures (what i mean by this is, it trades people saying "23/26" etc) If you know what im talking about?

I haven't used any other people's 07 scripts yet, but I do have two of my own private ones:
One makes 80l-110k/hr other makes 90k-100k/hr both runs ~5hours+ with no problems.

I do agree there are a lot of scripts made by new people which aren't the best, but hey at least they are trying, and with feedback and time and updates they will get better and better, but there are also various well made and stable scripts too. Also once more randoms are solved runtimes will greatly increase too.

I'm actually planning to make private law crafter (the kind that trades laws/ess for ess and crafts at alter) for someone who offered to pay for one, I'm super lazy though so who knows when I'll start/finish that!

Might have helped if you made this in the RS07 section and not the regular cheating section.

 

Simba probably has the longest running scripts out of any bot. In the members section there are scripts that easily run for weeks.

 

Thanks for the response. Still looking for threads that could possibly teach me how to script. Did you learn off experience/reading other peoples scripts or did you look under a specific thread/tutorial ? :O

I don't know about WEEKS, but there are defiantly scripts which can run for many hours just fine (besides any unsolved randoms), and even the public scripts section has many decent to great scripts.
