Nothing changes, this could be a cover up etc to make them look like good people.

With every service that goes under, you all still need to take the proper security precautions!

    Stay Safe!

Coming from some one who knows law, and especially criminal preceding's simply ask yourself...does this make sense? They tell you three days ago or four days ago, "the bot will

be up monday we were a victim of a ddos." Ironically on monday they now change it to say the above, now i can tell you this, it is highly unlikely that they both received an

official legal notice from the real jagex ltd, which a court summons would be delivered first hand in person by a hired processed server, (which is a paid person by the client to

deliver legal notices to the other parties), and in the same day both hire an attorney and meet with this attorney in which they had received advice for a case that has not

even yet been taken to the pre trial or even officially been proven to have been real.

Just don't feed into non credible sources, thanks.

They never specified why they could not release the bot. They where probably notified 3 days ago and that is when they had the time to do what you stated above.

Although you may think you are educated in Law, you lack conman sense. ;)

This was the actual statement, which doesn't contradict any of the recent revelations:

EDIT: Also if I had to guess, they probably got a letter from jagex lawyers, spoke to theirs over the weekend and decided that fight wasn't worth it.

They never announced that the bot would be up again on monday.

    Announcement they made on friday:
We fixed the bot but we can't release it yet. You will hear more from us on monday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We've updated the homepage. We stop because of legal reasons. You data is safe, do not worry!

    (Thats what it says now)....

    Still changed my rs passwords.

Also yah tribot is in my opnion best 1 out next to wbot atm... Just waiting for trilez to freaking install the ddos protected server

    PS:

My opinion is they got paid off to stop. And Jagex made them sign a contract saying they will drop wBot, meaning if they continue jagex got em by their balls.

A court summons would only happen if Jagex went ahead and took legal action. Firms most of the time will warn someone, and ask them to shut down. wBot seemed pretty small and like they don't get many donations, if such a letter were to come, paying trial attorney's and the whole nine yards to have a legal case for 2 years just isn't worth it.

But I do agree with you, it's sketchy that a few days ago they said everything was coming back. All sources are going to be non-credible with regards to this, if they are getting sued only a few people would know and they would have to be idiots to comment on ongoing legal proceedings.

Lmao thanks for the heads up, and some interesting thoughts raised in this thread...

    >Realizes I miss-spelt the obscure foreign phrase I set as my new password.
