If and when they make some statement they aren't coming back, I'd advise changing a lot of your passwords and virus scanning it pretty good. :embar:

First off, you've been asked before and failed to respond XOY, but who are you in affiliation with wBot? I know some and have NEVER seen you around before.

Second, wBot made a HORRIBLE decision doing the shutdown this weekend. They are a FREE bot, and should be trying to instill trust in its members, so they will hopefully purchase VIP. I was already planning on purchasing VIP/Subscription but after seeing the lack of information given to members over the weekend, i will have to wait and see now. Not a good move IMO.

 

They've been getting ddos'd constantly, relax.

They're probably trying to get everything stabilized.

be patient you can run your 40 pure essence bots when their servers come back up. In the mean time play legit s0n.

 

They don't offer anything for VIP yet, for one. So one will be buying it.

Two, you don't know what reasons they shut down for.

Three, they have no responsibility whatsoever to their members. They could not say anything for the next two weeks, launch up their bot, and thousands of little kids will run to it because it has the best public scripts on market, paid or free.

Obviously it would be better for everyone if they were up rather than down, what's the point of running a website, a forum, a bot, if it's going to be down. With that said, I highly highly doubt the guy just wanted to be a douchebag and make people wait a weekend, a whole week, or more. There's usually a lot more to the story. It's enough they posted their ETA (of Monday) rather than just saying they'll be down for a while. Hopefully they're back up soon but all the complaining is rather pointless.

 

You, and the other guy that responded misunderstood. Firstly, to you handguns, i run only 1 bot on 1 account when i do bot, quit making assumptions. Also, anyone with half of a brain should understand that they are under DDoS attacks, especially since they even posted it in the forums when it began going offline and getting hit with 700k packets. I can play legit on weekends as i work during the week and go to class. It really doesn't bother me. When i said VIP, obviously i know it is not a option yet. But you can still DONATE, and then purchase VIP once it is released. The point i was making is that they should at least attempt to somewhat keep their members and users informed. It's not good business.

 

Just another ungrateful gold farmer. This obviously isn't there fault.

 

Once again, i use only 1 account to bot, as i only have 1 runescape membership. I don't even play EoC it's a level 3. Quit coming on and flaming for no reason with no knowledge.

What does that even mean? They already said they can't release the bot until today at the earliest. Don't donate then, they'll be fine. I would love to see every single one of their scripts go private, it would remove the leechers.

 

As would I....but in order to gain a random person's trust you keep them updated on the happenings. They could have at least said something about what is going on with it over the weekend, instead of leaving everyone out of the loop. You wouldn't start a business but not keep the investors up to date.

I will still donate most likely depending on what happens today, and i know they would be fine without it but it does help.

I cant think of any reason why they would not be allowed to tell us whats going on. So it is a choice of webjoch to do is. I totally dont understand why the fuck he would do so thought.

- Never knew that I've been asked about my affiliation with wBot. Well, all I am is a Sponsor on the wBot forums, I created these threads to help advertise wBot, Webjoch himself said they have helped, sorry that you've never seen me around before, but I'm here now, that's all that maters
- Webjoch said he didn't want to release any information about why it was down, why? Idk. Many rumors have spread saying Legal issues. My thought of why it's down is so he can finish adding the auto login in future, adding support for all randoms, and to add the new Client Interfaces/Graphics, there was a big competition on the forums for the Client Interface/Graphics, hopefully this is what's going on.

- Maybe there's a surprise, or Legal issues like I said above, no one knows but no one should really care, there's over 30k members, and maybe 29,900 leachers trying to use his services for free and are ruining the economy. Webjoch and Bool, and all the other staff members have done a lot for us users to use his services, if we have to wait a week, or even a month, be happy he's doing something for you for free.

Yes, my point exactly, everyone has been hating on Webjoch, even though they all want to use his services for free, so like I said, we can all wait a week, or even a month if we have to.
