You Got Video Games In My TV

There is a game called Defiance coming out soon for PS3, 360, and PC. The concept is that the game is an MMO and at the same time there is a Defiance TV show on the Syfy channel. The twist is that after the first season of the show in-game events are going to effect the direction of the television series. From the way I understand it there will be mass events that will allow the players of the game to decide the events of the show and also little things such as Wanted posters of players making it into the show and things like that.

What do you guys think about this idea? I think it is pretty interesting to tie in a show that will be effected by the events of the game and allow the players to decide what they're going to see next week.

 

This sounds awesome, ill definitely give it a go! I often find my self struggling to get my teeth into a lot of the new mmo's but the interactiveness and individuality is sure to get a lot of people hooked!

Depends on the quality of the show, I mean the syfy channel has sucked for years.

 

I don't know Eureka was good, but the question is more directed towards the concept as a whole and not just this single event.
