Wbot Discussion

Excellent program, scripts, and people on board with this site. Highly Reccomend for anyone interested in playing 2007 runescape but doesn't have time to play like they used to when they were 8 and in middle school...

Furthermore, there are alot of "haters" out there that are saying this bot is a virus or the owner is hacking their account etc. If you believe this then I feel sorry for you. I can only say that in my opinion it is legit and that I believe my opinion to be authentic based on my feelings towards my own intellect versus others.

I also am not "flipping" out because the site has been down for 24 hours because I know how hard it is to successfully start a project/website/program in the face of such adversity i.e. ddosing from competing botting sites, jamflex updates, etc. all at once at a vulnerable stage in development.

 

I agree with them being too quiet. If you want your user base to understand why there is such a long delay in a software update you need to communicate to them. All that's happening now is people are getting pissy and talking shit. If they would simply explain the delay they would be much better off.

 

Because they don't charge, they really have no responsibly to their userbase.

Also, besides the past 24 hours when the forum has been completely down, they were VERY, VERY quick to update users as to what's going on.

 

Been confirmed on their twitter account that they have fixed the bot however, it is not released just yet and they will be updating us on Monday! For those who are wondering.

 

"We fixed the bot but we can't release it yet. You will hear more from us on monday. Sorry for the inconvenience."

But they are in fact trying to operate a successful community based around this piece of software. In order for this software to succeed a happy user base is required.

 

I wish they would release it sooner than monday..

 

I am creating a Scripting tool for WBot but i can not get suggestions on the site because the fourms are down.

Currently it has a path recorder, a widget finder, and a user updated Item database. Is there anything else that other script writers would like to see on it?

 

You all need to chill lol. Its a free client. No one is charging anyone to pay so i dont understand why you are all hating on wbot as youre all just leachers wanting to use something that other people have taken time and effort to create something like this for you guys. They havent added vip scripts because of the issues they have been having. Would be funny if they charged $0.25 to use there client. You would all go cry and not give the staff of wbot any recognition or support for what they have tried and not yet gave up on the FREE software for you to use. If you dont like us then leave, we really dont care about losing a member of wbot with 0 posts and who is ungrateful for what has been given to them. That is all.

Anyone else think that this bot may have been the target of a Jagex takedown? It wouldn't be the first time they've gone as far as to take legal action on the bot client itself and their words "We fixed the bot but we can't release it yet. You will hear more from us on monday." tell me that they are for some reason not allowed to release the bot client. When nexus and rsbuddy were taken down they both were saying things like this up until the takedown notices.

trying to stay hopefull tho, i put allot of time into WBot.

 

This is definitely possible, wBot has changed the servers of the oldschool quite a bit, prices, players, stats, etc. Though, I can't tel you why we are down, if I hear anything, I'll be sure to post it under the "wBot Official Status Page."

A lot of people have put a lot of effort into their accounts with wBot, and the staff have put a lot of time and effort trying to keep it running for us users! Hopefully they manage to pull through even if it takes longer than the ETA Monday, I just want the community to stay strong.

Yeah, I'm hoping that rather than being shut down, the delay is to setup a vip system. I'm tired of all the worlds being flooded with gold farmers.
