Thoughts on possible Godwars.

So with the possibility that Godwars could be added, how would you feel?

For me, it's one of those things that I could live with or without. It IS 2007 content, but I really love that simplicity to the era it's at currently. But, I could still enjoy it with the addition of this.

It's one of those things I could be happy with or without, I just wish it would have never been brought into discussion.

Thoughts?

GodWars would make a lot of people quit, as it'd ruin PKing. Godswords made it overpowered.

 

Godswords made pking fun imo. Ags specials. Damn <3.
But yeah, not only the godswords, but also Bandos and Armadyl armour. Loved that stuff..

It's a shame it won't nearly get 75% votes.

 

It is a shame. As much as I hate godswords we need new content to keep the game interesting tbh. Most will say its great how it is and it needs no change. I agree with the first bit, but talk to me in a few months and tell me you still don't want any new content...you won't.

I'd be fine with nerfed loot or even no loot except for gp or barrows or dragon etc. I just know we will need more content.

 

Three words describing GWD on oldschool servers... No me gusta.

 

Im telling you guys, the vast majority of those who dont like, I was one of you! You WILL want new content after a while, and YES i agree godswords can be very dumb. And as for three worded responses to stuff, your not helping the debate/conversation whatsoever.

And the vast majority of people play OldSchool servers for pking. Godswords ruined pking, that's when ragging became HUGE.

 

personally 07 needs no more updates people arent even pking ready yet n there gunna ruin it with one itemers with god swords

I agree godswords can be dumb. Still doesnt disqualify GWD.

 

The game as been out for what,1 month now and we're already thinking about "new content" to keep the game interesting? Please, we can live without GWD.

 

I personally don't care ether way It has it's pro's and it's con's you just need to figure out which out weigh the other.

What I am saying is that after SEVERAL MONTHS we MAY want to consider new content, and I NEVER said we NEED gwd.

 

It won't get 75% if it does come down to a vote. They can make plenty or more useful updates to keep the players interested. I personally like SoulWars But I'm not sure if they would bring it back or not. I'd be cool with some graphic updates honestly...07 RS with 2013 graphics.

 

I agree with this post the most. It's new content that could be interesting, but I don't feel it's needed. Especially right now, as the server hasn't even been up a month. I could get on board with it, but IDE rather it not be introduced.

I agree that new content is necessary to keep the game interesting, but the content should be new stuff not something that rs already had. They need to make new bosses and new equipment (nothing overpowered).

However, all this new content can wait for a couple of months.

Personally, I think they should just make new bosses and add them into the game. KQ, KBD, and CE are strong, but I feel that something more challenging would be nice.

 

GWD needs to stay out of the game, it's going to bring 4 OP weapons to the game as well as d boots (not that big of a deal) and some OP armor.

I think it should just stay out and let barrows remain the best armor in the game.

 

That doesnt necessarily have to be the case. Im not trying to play Devil's advocate here, just trying to get you guys to have an open mind.. They could simply instate GWD but withhold godswords, bandos armor, armadyl, etc. and replace it with pure GP or dragon items etc. Plus I agree we dont need this for many months, but just try to keep an open mind.

 

See this is what's a little odd; there shouldn't be much new content added to the server at all. Let's not forget that we voted for the 2007 servers. We got them, so we can't really push for much new content. That's what makes the game what it is right?

I don't see what anything that isn't 07 content should even be brought into the discussion.

I don't think there would be a drastic loss of players due to lack of new content being added.
