Did some mucking about with it, primarily some lighting sort of stuff, and tried to sort out the render, but it's not easy.
make the letters bigger to fill up some space on the right it is way to unbalanced. and the works is the main purpose of a sig so make them kinda stand out but blend in with the background.
I had a play around with the font, and didn't want to to overpower the signature but i'll have another mess about. I don't understand what this means.
Nice work Ame I can see that you fiddled around with the lighting! I'm a fan of the effects you used in the background, and I agree that the text should be a little larger, or removed from the piece (personally it distracts me from looking at the rest of the beauty). If I may suggest, I'd work on blending in the right side of the render, as it does look a little bit cut-out and pasted. Other than that I think you did a really fantastic job. Solid work, I'd love to see more of your art
Cheers buddy, great feedback! Can't remember dude, it was a couple I just pinched different tuts from, but I used my own components etc. Ah, right on. Text is always a pain!
Hey Amethyst. Thanks for taking time to share some of your fabulous work here in the gallery. I really like this piece because of how well it's composed. However, it seems unbalanced in my eyes due to the fact that the right part of the tag is 'empty'. Also, you may want to tamper with the text a little because I'm not really thinking it looks to great that way and that it has the potential to look much better
Yep, it is! Tried to get a better quality version still from the movie, but they all ended up similar. Cheers MoonGlare!
Like I told another member, at this stage in learning it is about getting used to the tools and learning the rules so volume is the name of the game. Attempt to produce a lot of work focusing on areas that you feel you are weak at. Use tutorials to learn technique, not to learn how to make a signature. There are tutorials that are really good for teaching different techniques and take that technique and use it for your own purposes. Use stocks, they're a lot easier to build on in my opinion, they give you a background that already is working for you so that you don't have to build one from scratch. Play with all of your tools and even if a piece looks like it sucks keep going with it and always post the end result. I'll be here, or someone else with tagging knowledge will always be around to give you some tips.
