wBOT - My Experience.

I've seen 15-20 threads on wbot's actual forum of this happening and they just get deleted. And the bot creator has a sketchy background so.

 

I'm only using this bot for exp, if they want to take my 100k bank they can have it. Getting 70+ melee stats with ease is just too worth it.

 

WHY GIVE AN ALMOST FLAWLESS BOT AWAY FREE? ONLY ! REASON IMO..

I used wbot in a VM also because of this reason, I have heard on other forums That they use either a keylogger or ratt or w/e to steal every password & email that you enter into your browser. Then go Phishing through everything, and the main intention is to clean out your bank account/paypal, and access forums...cleaning out RS accounts is just a bit of extra pocket money for them along the way..

MY ADVICE------is to re-format your pc you used wbot on and do a fresh install-----MY experience is when i downloaded Wbot it worked fine, but my pc started lagging, i have a pretty decent pc, and never had that lagg before, that is when the Alarm bells rang for me, so I went on a clean laptop and went about changing every password on every RS account, paypal, amazon, emails, forums.
gl guys and use it in a VM is my best advice.

I have a mac, what should I look out for? I'm honestly not even sure what security system I have. I just bought it not too long ago.

 

Still haven't been hacked/tampered with.

Also, is it a possibility that the owner is a member of Sythe?

 

Easy to find out, if a sythe admin or mod would email his webhost (whois.net) and say that there's being all this commotion about the site, keyloggers etc, they'll definatly help you out from there

 

I'd just like to point out that since I downloaded this program this morning my bank blocked me from using my online broker, and I think its cause I got a keylogger, but I'm not tech geek so what do I know.

 

You mean the same way RsBuddy and powerbot gave away "free" bots?

Those bots both offered a free service and a paid service..

I'm not taking sides with any other botting site.

 

I'm goldfarming on about 15 accounts all day, only sell once every 3 days, they could make some easy cash of me, but yet they don't. I love how all the people who said they were cleaned by wbot have a 15k bank and think they would be a target

 

So does Wbot tho...

 

Im new to this site but had to just say if you use the account protector on runescape anyone not from your ip address has to answer recovery questions to use your account so pretty much they would havet to get my recovery answers to get my account.

 

Well obviously they started out 100% free and eventually created paid scripts...

 

The same thing happened to Epic bot, i got a 2mil bank been using this bot for 2 days, NO bank pin. Nothing has happened. They have thousands of users on each script.

 

There is no chance, there is no other process running.

I think if you log in on the client you can be hacked no other way.

#1 It's free because the scripts are basically in beta to promote people buying premium when it comes out "soon"
#2 It has no traces of a virus anywhere inside its coding/ files.
#3 Some Scripts DO give you keyloggers, thats why you use the recommended ones on the Wbot "Trusted Bots" list. I would link you, but they are getting ddosed by butthurt kids who are jealous of their falwless free bots.
#4 I've made over 7m in 07 scape and haven't had my account tampered with at all once.
#5 All you kids who say you've been hacked, show us the proof that you haven't downloaded scripts from youtube or other silly shit that retards like you download.


All the people stating they have been "hacked" have less than 50 posts, gtfo.

I can not be bothered reading this entire thread, I'm sorry if people have already stated what I am about to say, but I'm tired and there's too much to read.

My understanding of wBot is that it had been compromised in the last few days (going off what other people have said). This being said, it would mean that wBot's database would have been compromised therefore leaking every single password that it stored.

I myself am a bit iffy about wBot, I have a decent computer. Can run games like Crysis 2, WoW, on high res with no lag. My internet is not an issue, as I have a strong connection and it is in my experience fast.

However I went to the wildy today, to take a break from training (I have a legit account I do not bot and personally train) and experienced several problems.

1.Loading screen would freeze and screen would go blank. Never happened before.

2. I would go to the home page of Oldschool RuneScape without touching anything.

3. I had lagged out while I watched others walk around, fighting etc while I just stood there and couldn't move. It was like I had been frozen without being frozen. But others also reported this as server lag as they experienced the same difficulties..

4. I was in a fight with a complete noob, and was receiving lag spikes. I was watching this noob continuously eat, while I was attacking. While this was going on, I was clicking my sharks furiously. Then I died. Ended up in Lumbridge, and hey presto, no lag, no lag spikes nothing.

My experience with wBot has been quite disappointing as it is always down. I have not been hacked yet, but my estimate it is only a matter of time

 

The runescape servers have been absolutely terrible today, people have been DCing and crashing all day.
