Request programs.

Well, I thought that it would be great to open a thread with the hope of being able to make simple programs for people that need that specific program. If a program already exists, please do not request for me to make you one like it. By the way, C is not a GUI (graphical user interface) language like VB or Java or C++ (at least i dont think it is). Go ahead, request your simple programs!

 

I would like a Calculator, that's easy to use and small in size

EDIT: Ok, calculators arent the easiest things to make! I will attempt to make one, and it should be done by 11PM EST, or tomorrow morning i will post it/PM it. Just need some time...

EDIT: What does the calculator need to be able to do? Add/subtract and multiply/divide?

Well i have completed the scripts. Just need to compile them, and then upload them somewhere. Or i can PM you the scripts, what would you like? They will be completely finished in a matter of 15 minutes from now.

EDIT: Do you want the C code sent to you (like the script)? Or the actual program uploaded on rapidshare or something of the like so that you can download it?

i have learned C but i think i forgot how to use it now. its 3-4years ago.but i love C, think its gr8 to program just in code. please pm me and send the code for me if you wish to. think it got about hundreds of rows.

 

Send you the code for what? And yes i agree, C is a great programming language. It is actually my first programming language too! I will be moving on to learn Java soon though. And i do not understand why x MayheM x has not responded to my PM, and has not posted here yet...

Please, I bet the only thing you know how to do in Java is say Hello World and use some variables. P.S. You last sentance didn't make sence at all. Runescape was created with the programming language Java.

 

If you wouldn't care, I need a program that will put a "`" on every line that doesn't already have a character. I don't know how to compile, think you could do that too?

I do care. But I am not quite sure what you are asking me to do. You want me to write you a program that constantly spits out the character '`'?

 

I would paste the text in a text bot, then hit generate. The program would add 1 ` at the beginning of the line that doesn't have any characters on it.
Then a button that would copy the text to the clipboard, so I could paste the text where I needed to.

Turn the text from:

line1
line2

line3

line4

Into:

line1
line2
`
line3
`
line4
