Q: Why mundo?
A: 1st champion I did really well with. Fits my aggressive style yet its forgiving.

Q: Would you consider yourself a good Mundo player or do you just enjoy the champion?
A: Am I the best? No. Am I in the top ten, most likely.

Q: So 8% from masteries, ~45 on stat page with sorc and liandries, 40% void staff, how often would you say you deal true damage cleavers?
A: I do true dmg to adc and mid usually. I don't build void staff. Its a waste. And i have found I don't do that much extra dmg.

Q: Assuming the enemy team has the standard AP mid, bruiser top, tanky jungler, adc and support - what would your optimal Mundo item build be and why? Also skill order and where you play Mundo (is it only jungle?)
A: Right now, it is easiest way to win games is as MID mundo... But don't I normally don't get to mid, people don't understand the power of MPEN mundo. So I usually top. Core item for MPEN mundo Are. 1. Sorc boots. 2. Liandry 3. Sunfire. After building Thornmail for AD team or SV for magic dmg team. After that maybe Wits End.. Basically choose items that do magic dmg, hence your mpen build. But your tanky.

Q: Do you go where you please?
A: I have motto with MPEN mundo.. Lose the lane but win the game. And then go as you please. If I win the lane its over.

Q: What do you build on mundo when you are roflstomping the enemy team? Do you just troll or build normally?
A: RoFL stop, I build PD. or Triforce.

Q: Can you please give your impression on the best of times and the worst of times for a dedicated Mundo player. Could you give specific eras or popular metas when he was weaker/stronger in your opinion?
What role/lane is the most fun for you to play as Mundo? (doesn't mean the most successful one)
Congrats on reaching Plat! I don't want to take anything away from your accomplishment of reaching Platinum. After all you are playing a rather unpopular champion at the moment. However I still would like to ask this.
Would you agree that the new league system made climbing the ladder a bit easier over a large number of games?
A: Wow loaded question.... Best time might be now for lanning mundo. But not for jungle mundo. Best for jungle mundo was right after the buff to W. That was fun in the jungle. Clear time of 3.01 or something.
Worst time... Right after Mundo was called a troll pick along with EVE at a tournament. It really made me hate this game cause of the community. Even though I was a good jungle with mundo.
new league system... Yes and no. I started gold IV and went to 5.. I had 7 promo series in gold 5 ruined by bad teammates before I moved up... Getting to platinum wasn't easy. I think my new MPEN mundo build helped me, plus i have stop ragging.. And I want to apologize to anyone I raged at... I didn't like when people rage at me, so I shouldn't do it to others.

Q: How did you play him in season 1? Top lane or
A: Jungle. I could counter jungle in season 1. I would go from Wraiths, wolves, their wraiths, their golems, before they could even catch up . Back then that would get me to level 3. Then i would do my buffs, after recalling and gank.

Q: Do you often consider what it might be like to play the other champions, or do you not even consider such heresy?
A: I want to move to 5s.. So I am going to work on it.

Q: Does the constant meta changes effect how you play Mundo? Did you play him less in periods where you felt he was weak etc?
A: Learning to adapt to each change has made it fun. Every time the jungle or items change I had to adapt... For example season 1. I could kill golems get level 2 and kill enemy at the blue.. But that was before leashing. Now everyone leashes and protects the jungler. So then I found out I could counter jungle ... I had many people rage quit to my counter jungling in season 1.

Q: Does really work ap mundo? or at least getting magic pen as mundo? Why?
A: Q - is magic dmg, and scales off the enemy and scales to 25%, adding MPEN makes it do more dmg.
W - also magic dmg, and scales .2 ap(not worth the ap), but I get anyways building liandry. MPEN helps the dmg.

Q: Can you play other champs in your tier, or you will lose all games?
A: I can play voli bear and some other jungles. I spent most of my 5k in the jungle... .Give me a jungle champ. I will do fine. Yes I suck at adc... I haven't mained an adc since twitch early op days.

Q: Support Mundo is all about throwing cleavers all day, right?
A: I use my Jungle page for runes, and my lane mundo mastery. And yes its about the poke. But its also about the engage. I buy wards just like any other support. But I can't heal, so I try to make the enemy focus me. If not I go hard on the adc. And usually can kill him before they kill my adc. hence the ghost/exhaust.

Q: What's your favorite Mundo skin?
A: Corporate mundo is my fav. But I currently don't own it. Sad I know. My first skin was Executioner Mundo I like that one.

Q: When I first started playing the game, I played nothing but mundo. I had a very difficult time adjusting to anyone else once I started to play other champs. Do you stick to mundo because it is hard to adjust or is he just a favorite? How well do you adjust to other champs after playing a ton of mundo?
A: Not having mana... Might be a big reason. I probably would like mana-lesss champs the most. Maybe I should pick up rumble before they nerf him.

Possibly you. I could me mistaken though. I need to get into competitive/ranked but I am kind of afraid that I am not where I should be (par wise). Not to mention, I feel like there will be a lot of smurfs and I play a lot of CSGO Comp (which requires precision) where this I feel like I just spam click certain places... My skill shots are almost always dead on though...

I agree, mundo mid is so much better than Mundo Top.

 

Impressive. I'd get bored of playing the same champion over and over again.

 

Not bad. Personally I find Mundo boring as ever.

Hahaha About Mundo... I can't imagine playing him for more than 100 much less 5000 games. That's at least literally 100K minutes worth of playing him :nuts:

 

I played with this guy a few times like a year ago when I was around 1700 elo. He's a good mundo, knows the limitations pretty well but mundo doesn't have a high skill ceiling so mastering a champion like that has pretty much minimal payoff (Eg: Him being around the same Elo for 3 seasons) Mastering play making/high skill ceiling champions is a lot more beneficial and will carry you hell of a lot further, Champs like Lee Sin / zed / anivia/ TF<3

 

He's pretty fun to play at times.

Never seen him built AP/MPEN though.

Might try it.
