Does Jagex still reset account stats?

Hey guys, I've been looking to making storm of armadyl pure, when I found a guy who had his stats reset but not quests. This would really give me an advantage since I could theoretically do the west then get stats reset and just get minimum magic level for the spell. Does anyone know if Jagex still resets account stats for botting, etc? Also let me know if someone you know got their stats reset recently. I'm hoping they still do but I can't confirm this.

Also, if anyone knows of an account selling that is similar to the one I described above, please let me know.

 

Too risky imo, its better off a reseted pure with all the quest done.

I think they are just straight up banning people for botting now without "warning". That's what they did to my account as well as several of my friend's accounts.

 

Yeah, Jagex seems to be allot stricter on botting now.

 

I haven't heard any cases of people being reset recently. With people saying Jagex are a lot stricter now, I'd say it's too risky to try. After doing all the quests and the skills to get there to have your account banned would suck.
Buying it would be very difficult too, but I'd personally say that's your only option.

Yeah,my zerk got resetted,from 95 pray down to 37 bcz they said i botted it,this happend february btw.

PS : I also had a 2week ban before i was able to access account.

 

My 99 hunter pure was reset just recently for botting. So I'm assuming yes they do still reset.

 

Did you guys get quests reset as well? Or just skills?

 

I haven't heard of any accounts being reset fully to the old level of 10 for all. Only resets I have heard of are skills such as Dung and mining which are targeted by Botwatch, which have been reset to level 1.

But even so it is still quite a risk. You could put a lot of time into a account and it could be completely banned.

Interesting, this might work although first I need to see if any accounts similar to this one are selling before I make my own.

 

If you've not trained the acc much it's a temp, then after that it's a perm. Most botting related bans are perm 'macroing majors' though.

Seems like a lot of different punishments for botting lately. Obviously bans are more frequent, but resets must be happening too if all these people are speaking the truth.

 

i think its just a ban now, i think resets got nerfed since more and more started to bot with the intention of getting reset.
