new designs need CnC asap plzz

this is my 10th peace for my portfolio contest an the deadline is tomorrow so tell me what you guys thank be for i take it in. (its for a 10,000$ scolorship so it needs to be perfect) tell me what i can improve on it.

For the rustic nails look, this is amazing. Your lighting is flawless, clarity of the piece is amazing and the colours are amazing. I think you hit everything perfectly with this piece bigk!

Wow, another job well done Lucas However, I would get rid of the curly lines around the letters because they don't really appeal to me personally. Other than that I really admire the rust effect over the text. Very nice. May I ask how long it took?

 

Was this all done in photoshop?

 

it took about umm 3 hours not including render time.

U looks like it is turned wrong. It is completely different from the rest and throws off the flow of the piece. Other than that I see some really neat effects. I think if you want to do anything more with C4D you need to do some real renders, not just text.

 

yes now that you pointed the u out it dose kinda ruin the flow a bit.
hopefully next year in collage i will learn a lot more about c4d and i will be able to model whatever i want.
