    Strange Email Messages

    Hi,

I've been getting some odd email messages lately. I'm not sure if they're real or are just fakes.

It looks like emails have been sent from my account to other ones and there's been some kind of error sending it. However I haven't sent any emails to these emails or even heard of them before. No one else uses my computer, and no one else uses my email. I also changed my password recently for my email.

There's been plenty of them, these are just I haven't deleted yet. They always appear in my Junk folder -

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks.

Sometimes it happens, but I would recommend you to change your password again. Make it much more complex for further security reason.

Looks a bit fishy though. But I don't know.

Huh... Have you emailed anyone recently? Also, what email program are you using?

He clearly stated that he did not email anyone.

Run malwarebytes first - or any other virus protection you have. Make sure there is nothing on your system that could compromise your security. Then change your passwords to an increased security level one. If you need to, write it down next to your computer (if you need to make it that complex).

Also, make sure you aren't on an unsecured internet connection. Add levels of security on it if you can. Make sure your firewall is protecting you properly, etc.

Yes. But none of the emails in the spam messages. And, Microsoft Office: Outlook 2007.

I have Kaspersky + Malwarebytes. I installed a fresh copy of Windows on 31/12/2012. I doubt anyone would guess the different password I made for it. Its a combination of letters + numbers.

Thanks. But those are for people who are sending the emails to those addresses and are getting 'kickbacks'. The few people I have emailed in the past few weeks I doubt would give out my email and they certainly aren't afflicted to any of the emails in my Junk Folder.

I may just contact Microsoft if no seems to know what's causing it.
