Wbot Discussion

Just botted ranged guild with Wbot, and suddenly I logged off, it said an error ocurred.
I could log in right away again, but the last IP was different from mine.
I don't know what happened. What I do know, however, is that I'm removing Wbot until it's proved 100% safe.

 

Had similar experience, i know when i tried to use rsbuddy i was booted off my account and the person went on it to clean it, luckily i was dging at the time so he didn't manage to steal anything - i told my leader to change my pw and formatted pc just to be safe.

edit forgot to mention Same thing happened to me on Wbot, started dcing randomly for around 5 minutes then i switched my phones 3g internet and paranoia started.. I guess i got lucky and logged in before the hacker could lol.

Pretty much, this is the reason why it got removed from my machine; downloaded SuperAntiSpyware and Malrewarebytes, Avira, Avast and some other programs scanned my pc overnight... it did detect some keyloggers/spywares related to the program and it was removed.

I also got Keyscrambler just to safe and told my clan leader via pm on irc to change my pw on rs, and keep it hidden some where. Paranoia!.

edit: it appears to be 'not the bot its self?, but keylogged scripts?' still.. Not to be trusted, i stick with Scar/simba. But i gota admit WBOT is a lot better than simba lol, not worth the risk;.

Yes! I've been running the cave fighter on my mac for 10 hours so far.
No problems yet.
And to people claiming to have been hacked, make sure that you haven't been phished/keylogged before blaming wbot.

 

I've got a new computer. The only things I've downloaded are Steam, the newest Java, the verified program RuneScape client, and Wbot.

 

Just because you didn't download KeyLogger.exe doesn't mean that you're not infected. You didn't list any sort of security software in your downloads either.

 

You're getting hit by the range guild script.

Oh god just stop.
Use them yourself or read thread comments on script threads.
It's going to take a while for all random to get solved, possibly after that many more scripts will last much longer without problems.

No they're not... Do some reading and you'll see that joch was wrong and the script was absolutely clean.

The scripts are reviewed. There has been NO confirmed scripts with malicious code.

 

Favourite bot works so stable, Kids saying they have been hacked can refer to my sig, thanks!

 

What happend to the guy that made this thread? After accusations about Wbot being a keylogger he just seemed to dissapear. Seems a little odd tbh.

 

to people saying its not a keylogger. i got hacked after 3 weeks, there are 400 people online right now thats a shit ton of account they just havnt got around to you yet

 

Just got hacked 5 minutes ago. 95% sure its wbot and the fishing script. Stole all by lobs (5k+) obby cape and full rune which is around 1m of stuff. Yup im quitting this game and I HIGHLY suggest you not use this bot unless the script has a source on it...
