Do you think that staking will become popular again in 07? :O

 

Of course, but it'll take some time before it gets booming.

 

Yeah people like to do boxing and stuff, so once we see maxed accounts and the like staking should rise again. Make a maxed acc with 1 prayer now..

 

Nah, maxed staking is dumb imo....Building your own staker is where its at! Trying to find the best setups is how a true staker is made

 

I mean thats the most common form of staking and the one thats done with the most $.. 90% of P hat stakes on youtube are maxed mains boxing.

I had a Soul War's prod a while back... 99hp 1def 78range.. Morrigan's prod. Ended up getting cleaned for a santa and selling the acc. Gambling is a terrible addiction. Shit eats you up

 

Of course yes, it is already popular.

 

All the old staking accounts will be coming back. Defense pures.. 1 pray/range/mage boxers etc.. you know all that good stuff

 

It will be back eventually. I personally won't be staking at all it's just to addicting.

 

I can't see myself getting into big purse stakes, Rs is something I don't care to gamble with. But, you can definitely catch me in a casino!

 

I'm currently in the process of making what I think will be a very succesful staker is why I made this thread. What is better? More Range/Less hp? More Hp/Less range? Equal Hp/range? For a 1 defense pure.

 

Hp and gear trump everything else.


Get 61 range for rune c'bow then ~85 hp. Hp, ignoring prayer, is the most important skill in staking.

 

How Can I level Hp by itself?? :O Without leveling range?

 

Quests & pest control/ train other combat skills

 

Don't wanna train other combat stats, thats just a waste of levels that could be used for hp/range I'll train range normally until level 40 then pest control it

Not a lot of people will have 99mage though. It costs too much at this point. Low-mid level staking is what will be popular atleast for 6 months or so.

 

If by "waste of levels" you mean waste of time that you could spend leveling range then yes. But 30 att and 30 str won't effect your cb level if your 60+ range.

 

But i also don't want to level hp by attack and str, because if i decide to gain attack and str down the road I will do it with quests.

 

As far as I can tell, staking is already popular.. I've main 1.5M staking people in the 50-60 level range (mainly pures) and there's always at least 15 people at w1 duel arena.

 

As a few people have stated, it'll be back when people have completed their staking accounts. I dislike staking, with a passion. I'd always stake, lose, stake win, stake lose then wanting to retrieve all my GP I'd stake again, and lose.. Maxed mains are where it's at with big stakes; like phats etc. Because people have a fair opportunity, it's just random. Whereas if you had a staking account, anything could happen?
