need HELP with avatar change .gif!

I've been trying for the past couple days to get a .gif avatar if you don't know what that is it's a moving animated picture for ur avatar.
I've found one, resized it to 80-80 upload it and it doesn't moved.. tryed it numerous times.. so what's the trick? can anyone help me please before this drives me insane !

Some settings I suppose when you try to upload it. Did you upload via the external URL link or via your local disk ?

 

local disk, i had to resize it. been trying for hours now

I read a thread saying you need to send the pic to a mod so they can upload it for you.

If I'm not mistaken, you have to PM a Global to set it for you. Make sure it's the correct dimensions and size then send them a PM with the link.

.GIFs have to be manually assigned by Globals/Admins in most cases due to them being a large file size. Just PM a Global and ask them to change it for you.

 

How do i get in contact with a global?

 

You contact a Global/Admin via this link - http://www.sythe.org/showgroups.php

 

Look for a Global who is online (Globals have bold red names such as Corey). PM them and supply the link to change to.

Non-donors should PM a global moderator and donors should post in the avatar request thread in the donor lounge.
