Was hoping the Jazz would split their frontcourt at the trade deadline, which in turn would cause them to lose a couple games since Mo's still out.

Here's to hoping Utah/Denver/GSW somehow tank the remainder of the season, and my beloved Lakers/Rockets/Blazers sneak their way into playoff contention.

Lakers came back from 25 pts last night. Will they make the playoffs like Kobe promised? I surely hope so! :)

I don't like the Lakers but... that was a sick comeback.

Kobe playing amazing. Very nice game in the clutch last night with 41 pts, tied with the Utah Jazz in the 8th spot.

Balanced attack beat the Bulls, and now are sitting in the 8th seed of the western conference. Go Lakers!

Lakers looking sharp at times lately. Hoping they can fight their way to a 6th seed and make it out of the first round with some momentum =]

Lakers are picking it up, they'll probably make the playoffs.

They will make the playoffs but they are no match for san antonio and oklahoma, at least not this year. But also a hungry team that has momentum can be dangerous

True, we will just have to wait and see. Remember, the Spurs did lose to the Memphis Grizzlies [Spurs #1 seed, Grizzlies #8 seed]. This has only happened four times in NBA history. If the Lakers do come in as a 8th or 7th spot, I hope they upset either the Spurs or the Thunder.

As much as I love the Lakers, I doubt they'd push it past 6 games with either the Spurs or Thunder, especially the way both those teams have been playing this year.

Gasol back will definitely make an impact, but the Spurs are too good at team basketball, and the Lakers have no answer for Durant/Westbrook/Martin.
