SERIOUS PayPal help needed

Hello guys, I am in need serious paypal help.

Today I woke up and my dad called me informing me that there was a purchase of a "Sony psp" made from his visa at israel. I was like wtf? The first thing I though was that my paypal account was hacked. So I told him to hold a sec, that I was gonna check my paypal. So did I, and everything was fine.

I have absolutely NO idea how was that purchase made. I obviously didnt do it otherwise I wouldnt be posting this, and paypal is the only site in which I used a credit card.

Has anyone got an advice they could give me? Any similar experience?

 

Did your dad use it anywhere online? Could have nothing to do with anything you've done but maybe what he has done.

 

I once had payments going to Gibraltar and it freaked me out, went to the bank and turned out it was just my William Hill betting account. Duh.

OT: Have you or your dad bought anything from a dodgy website that could've stolen your details?

I'd recommend going and talking to your bank manager, they can tell you some things about where the money's going and when the payment was made etc. which could give you some clues as to what it may be.

 

As far as I know, the credit card was only used with PayPal :/ Thats what worries me

Best Bet Is To Call Paypal My Friend

 

That won't get him far. PayPal staff are notoriously unhelpful, due to my experience with dealing with them. I suggest you go to your bank, cancel the card, make an unauthorised usage claim, get back your money and get a new card.
