Quitting My Job to Play Runescape '07

Seeing that you hate your current job, quit it and find a better one. I would not rely on Runescape as my main source of income. It's just too risky.

 

$30-40 a week? how much are they paying you..jesus christ. Quit, you hate it and it pays shit all. I used to work part time 2 days a week and i would make $69 a day at minimum wage.

 

Gp will easily go under .5 once everyone and their dog has a push button bot like powerbot. Don't qive up on your job at least you gain work experience.

It's dropped substantially and will continue to drop. The market has grown alot since release, the more it grows, the more gold that enters the game, the lower gold will be worth.

 

I wouldn't work for less than $40 a day, even at your age.

Playing RS to make cash might seem like the life, but it builds nothing towards your future - at least if you have a job, you can put that down on your resume.

The price of RSGP in '07 wasn't bad, but the users of today (and the RWT market) is a whole different monster IMO - prices won't stay good for too long.

07 Gold will only continue to decrease in value, but $40+ a week is no problem for people willing to contribute a fair amount of time.

How many hours do you even work? That's barely minimum wage, even if it's only part time. It might be a better idea to get a new job, not quit your job and sell money from Runescape.

 

Yea I would just keep the job and then your future jobs would give you a better salary because you have more experience.

 

You're the dumbass, the guy said he is quitting a job that pays 40$ a week, not exactly a living and the fact that he mentioned it is to pay for his insurance shows it isn't for a living.

Also people do, I've spoken to a guy that made 16,000$ USD a month off Runescape+Sythe and there could be some merchants that make more.

 

Ok so first off I'm going to deem you mentally handicapped. Because I would pay one of those 30-40 bucks a week because anyone else would quit.. Second of all you would have to have a bot army to make money semi equal to a real job.

only way to make real $ in RS is staking.. Not even pking is worth it compared to actual working

 

Yeah you just gave two counter-examples to yourself, bot farms and staking can make you a living; as well as merchanting on Sythe.

 

He is talking about actually PLAYING RS not having a bot army on a vps or high lv staking.. So my point that working and buying RSGP is the most effcient way still stands.
