Quitting My Job to Play Runescape '07

I'm a senior in high school making only $30-$40 a week at a job I hate and they won't give me more hours. I can make a mil in 4 hours and sell it for that much easily, but how much will the cost of '07 gp go down from here?

 

It will only go down from here..But 07 can still make you more than 30-40$ a day haha

 

I can see eventually in 2-3 months time gold being .7/M. There are a few people I know with over 20M already, and they just keep getting more by flipping more expensive items.

 

Okay. My plan is to make a mil, or 30$+ a week with green drags to pay for my only bill, car insurance, then continue on with slayer. Hopefully by the time I'm 85 slayer I will be making more money at abby demons. I remember killing these a while ago on my, what is now EoC account and at 4m or whatever they were a long time ago, I was making much better profit than greens.

Yay. Training my strength is much more fun than bussing tables and I can choose my own hours.

What do you guys think of my plan of doing greens/slayer, then just abby demons? Hm...Maybe gargoyles too because many pures will want gmauls.

Oh, wow. I'd have to be making 10M/hour at that price. My guess was closer to double $0.7. I should have 85 slayer in a couple months, any idea what the whip price will be then?

 

No, haha. I'm a senior in high school and I still live at home. I'll get a real job once I'm out of college. Of course, I want to be a stripper come this fall...But that's unrelated.

Like I said, I just need to pay for car insurance and save a little and I was just curious of what the gold prices will be like in a few months.

 

Just quit 30-40 a week is decent for your age but if you hate the job screw it.

make money with runescape while u find a better job. this probably means u wont have fun with runescape since you're forcing our self to make money (my opinion). i work in construction and make a little over 100$ a day depending on the hours, but doing this i only need to work weekends and i have at-list 800$+ a month and lots of time to focus on other stuff during the weekend. hope i help

You don't know how much he works.. He only said he makes that in a week, he could just work one day and earn that but I doubt that with the context. I earned 3,30€/h or something 2 years ago >_< Parents forced me to work while I cba'd to work for such a low amount. Still worked 2 days a week 8h/day so in the end I earned a pretty decent amount but it wasn't really worth it.

 

30-40 dollars a week? The hell man are you in Africa with those pay rates?

 

I would strongly advise from a money standpoint to keep your normal job, and just play 07 on the side. I don't understand why you can't do both? Also you run a limited risk of something happening and all your time becomes worthless. Such as Jagex banning you, or Mills dropping in price badly, or heck Jagex starts charging for their service in 6 months.

I understand that you think it's easy money, but part of the reason you work shitty jobs is for work experience and a resume builder. Stick to highschool, graduate and go to college, and or work a real job and get your GED. Runescape WON'T be around in another ten years, and then what will you have to say for yourself? Business fail, and working at one is socially acceptable, playing/botting an Online game for money isn't.

With that said, get another job or go back to your old one if you can. And think long term not short time. /end rant. Just really looking out for you. I still think you can do both though!
