The community members should have respect for the staff as well, if they want it in return. People constantly jump down our throat for most things we do, it's sickening.

Mage, the only other thing you whined about was me being on invisible, but its lo been proven that you were only complaining for the sake of complaining as there have been and still are several staff members on invisible and you don't say a word. I'm not trying to make this about myself, I'm simply replying to Neros example about you. Stop whining.

I think he acts like this merely because of all the reports he's been through of the same nature and how long he's been on the staff team, if I was in that position I could imagine me doing the same thing. :S

But I do think if he doesn't want to reply to the community in an appropriate manner then he shouldn't reply at all, because if Sythe wants more members to register ( Which I believe he does ) then they wont want to see Administrators of the forum replying to thread in an arrogant tone.

Hopefully this will shed some light to the staff team and nobody will go down the same path, maybe he should take a break from moderating the forums for a while, let someone else take their turn in the drivers seat.

Roary should have banned him straight away, All the evidence is there and their definitely isn't anything to "Sort Out" he scammed and its obvious, And if he wasn't banned he could have gone on to scam a couple of people.

 

He rebought the account, get your facts straight before you post a report, jackass.

I was reviewing it with PIAV, he was temped for infractions anyway while I did so. However, on second review, with no evidence for the re-buying of the account - he deserves to be banned until he can prove he did so.

 

It's funny how the admins are warning users not to troll admins/be respectful when specific admins are being far from respectful themselves. If we want the community to be legitimately respectful towards staff, not just respectful out of fear of being banned, both sides are going to have be less hostile. There's already enough tension in the community, Firez needs to chill or else hes only going to make the problem worse.

I'm not too active in the community aspect of this forum but of the handful of posts i've seen by Firez i've noticed he crosses the line occasionally and acts unprofessionally in my opinion. I'm glad someone finally called him out on this, hopefully this thread will help him be a better admin because at times he makes the forum as a whole look bad.

 

Sorry for the off topic, but you expect if someone recovered the account, AT LEAST 4 months later you'd get a report?? The evidence is inconclusive.

 

You don't get it do you? It seems like the entire point of the example flew over your head or something.

 

There are several people who have been scammed in the past and not made a report for whatever reason. The proof provided for PIAV's banning is sufficient, it shows a successful account sale and then the account being sold again on a later date and no visible proof in any of his posts or vouches that the account was bought back.

 

To the people saying 'you should give me respect and then maybe I'll show you respect', you need to either wake up or stop telling the joke.

In order to gain respect, you do not seek or demand it - you earn it.

As far as I am concerned (and as far as anyone else should be, too), FireZ has definitely earned the respect that you little piss ants should be giving him.

 

I'm not commenting on the thread as a whole, but rather I was simply making a response on the example. I don't much care about the point he was trying to prove (not trying to be rude Nero, sorry if it sounds that way), I'm not head of the Admin team so it doesn't much concern me.

I perfectly understand the thread and what hes on about by the way, but as I've said, I don't call the shots so I'm not going to state whether or not I think its a problem. I felt the need, however, to defend him in an example and I did just that. That was a nice try at turning it around by saying I'm ignorant, by the way.

 

I am not sure whose world you choose to live in, but we're not some militant order - we are a community of interacting human beings that rely almost solely on the text and the way the way someone presents the content of that text. If you want respect you have to show respect to me or any of the others that you deal with. You can't expect someone to be forced to respect someone who is continually belligerent and constantly spewing bile at everyone who is unlucky enough to cross their path. As many have said, FireZ was once an asset to the community, but now he is weighing it down with his negativity and complete lack of professionalism. If any intelligent person comes here they're going to see what he says about his own community and probably think whoever gave him power was drunk or incompetent at the time.

 

Defend what? His unprofessionalism? His opinions where they don't matter? The example was clearly pointing out that what he said was completely unrelated to the topic and issue at hand, something that you can't seem to grasp.
If you felt the need to correct him on that point, please do it on your own time.

And if you have some sort of vendetta against me, please don't hesitate to bring it forth directly instead of muzzing up these threads.

 

That goes both ways though. I doubt many of the people he said anything to didn't do anything bad (ie. scamming, hacking, etc). You said it yourself, you can't expect someone to be respectful to someone who is continually belligerent and constantly spewing bile (or in this case scamming, hacking, etc).

 

There are a few times when I can agree to this (such as Sythe with Stui) but in most cases the aggressiveness and hostilities are too much and a level of professionalism needs to be maintained. Especially when you represent this website.

 

But that isn't the only places where he has this bad attitude, it is over the forum in general. Any time he posts it is generally not helpful, and while they are scammers, or hackers, or trolls you still have to approach it respectfully to show that you can handle situations without devolving into negative remarks and just bad mouthing.

For the record, right now you're expressing your opinion where it doesn't matter. Keeping the Administrators in line is Richard's job. There is, however, a difference between your opinion mattering and your right to voice your opinion.

As I've said, this is no different. If hes not allowed to post his opinion there, then kindly stop posting in this thread as you are going against what you're saying. You do, however, have just as much a right to voice your opinions, just like FireZ.

I have no vendetta against you, however it seems you have one against me. From the very day you saw that thread about me disabling my PMs for 2 minutes to prevent me having to infract a user, you've been searching for a reason to bitch at me ever since. I'm absolutely sick of it, and anyone who wonders why I'm so angry toward you should simply read what I've just said. The bottom line is, if you had simply asked me why I disabled my PMs or asked me to re-enable my PMs (which was already done by the time you posted), you would have gotten the full picture. Rather, you choose to complain about things when you don't have the full story, and that's most likely why you dislike so many people, and so many people dislike you.

I'm done with you Mage, if you choose to overcome this fued between us, you can PM me and we can sort it out. I'm not hard to get along with, but I'm not going to continue wasting my time any longer.

I personally will never show respect for a scammer/hacker/etc unless I personally forgive them. In turn, I will not bow down to them and treat them with respect, but rather I will treat them how they treat others.

 

To expect someone to uphold a certain behaviour indefinitely, especially in such a demanding (and voluntary) position, is expecting them to not be human.

Maybe if the shoe was on the other foot, you would not be so judgmental.....dealing with the kind of shit FireZ and the rest of this staff team have to deal with on a day-to-day basis would make many a man murder suicide.
