Agreed with the above post. The effects on the text make it really hard to read. Try to bring down the opacity and/or change the blending mode. Also, the image clips really hard on the right which drives me nuts :3 Haha. Not a real fan of the colorway as they don't really go together. There are many websites out there that could help you with that (use google). Keep practicing buddy!
The text could work, it's just really flat. It needs some pop, try adding some blending options like Bevel and Emboss to bring it out some more. The flag could work but right now it's looking really plain trying experimenting with different blending modes or if that doesn't work add textures. As already mentioned the text is a bit illegible due to the over-use of effects. Post some more work, I see you're improving.
