Amped :D old RS player

So anyway, I quit after the new age of runescape came out.
Tried to get back into it once they brought "old wildy" kind of back.
Couldn't.

So stoked they brought back 07'. As you can see from my join date ive been waiting quite a while for this.. I doubted it would ever come back

Any other old players out there who came back after 4-5 years?
I made member straight up and voted for the old RS.

The new one looks great, but its nothing like the experience of the good old one, which I most prefer.

Just thought id share, nohate.

 

i have returned good to see an oldie back mate

 

i played eoc on and off but never really took it seriously. been playing since late 2005 and was, to say the least, very surprised when i saw the status jagex made on their facebook page saying they're bringing back the 2007 version (glory year). so yeah, i've been playing it avidly since launch.

it's great but could use some more features and updates. we'll see what they add in the weeks to come.

 

I just started today, more updates and features such as? Is there anything missing that should be there? I hope this doesnt transform into the current RS.. with updates etc.

 

better clan setup, make: ALL option, HP, prayer and run energy on the HUD (around where the map is), rest etc.

they said they will be holding polls for the members to vote on. it's completely community driven so they won't be adding big changes unless the general consensus says otherwise.

 

That's good to know, I agree with those changes. I hope the community however sticks to the old "vibe" of things and keeps it simple.

Welcome back, I know that a lot of people have come back from this 07 update good to see another person rejoin the game as well.

 

I returned also...so much fucking nostalgia its insane I remember Sythe back in 07 too jesus I am so glad Jagex did this they actually care!!

 

As did I. I've put in over 20 legit hours since and I honestly can say I've enjoyed every second of the grind.

 

05 crew, love training legit and getting somewhere so far feels great
