If money was seriously no problem i would probably just build your computer to every new feature it can get.

I'm not up to date on current hardware.. Anyway, I'd start with a quad socket server mobo with four OC'd Xeon 4650's, 4-way (not quad) SLI GTX Titans, max out the motherboard with Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM, eight or more OCZ-REVODRIVE3's (SSD) in RAID 0 for speed, a RAID 6 config with large drives for storage (however much I need), custom water cooling loop, custom case, LED's for speed, and about 35-40 monitors to make it look cool.

Honestly I think building a computer in the $3-4k range would be the best solution.

Hardware devalues insanely fast because of Moore's Law and thus spending $20k+ on a computer that might only be worth say $3-5k in a few years is wasteful and really no point in it unless you are doing say academic work with the computer such as processing huge amounts of data.

    500,000 x 250 = 125,000,000

Not too bad. Could most likely get a discount.
