Help me decide on a pure? I got 20 defense :(

I'm looking for a good pure that needs a decent defense (probably 40? - Not really going for defense tank).
I wish I could have left my defense at 1 but at the time I decided to make a main but I already went down that path 7 years ago and its kinda repetitive and boring now. I feel like making a pure with no cash at the start would be more of a challenge and really make me appreciate each PK I get.

I remember there being a specific one, I think it was rune pure?
I don't really remember its been so long heh.

Any ideas?

 

Pures are over-rated to be honest I maxed my pure in 2009 and it got old fast especially when mains started to get OP. I'm starting a tank on the 2007 servers.

 

Unless you're making a range tank, you're fucked. You can make an initiate pure if you got defense from recruitment drive and dragon slayer. If not, you're fucked.

You could make a zerker, but those were meh. You'd still be competing with 70 def pures in deep wildy.

 

Zerker pure like me. Alot more fun and can quest easy
