Good Thread i found on Rs forums about Votes

Seriously, if I remember back then when sowreck3d posted his video and petition as well as other well know Runescape Video Makers. In his video Quoted
"We don't want maintainence, we don't want character copying, we can start fresh. Has it ever occurred to you that players would be willing to pay for their nostalgia back?"

Tons of people watched this video, tons of people signed the petition. I'm not here to argue and you can go against my opinion but I actually like EoC. After watching The World Wakes preview video and the release of HTML5, I'm excited. But Jagex has to stall these wonderful updates because of all the complaining in the community. YOU GUYS voted and said you'd be willing to pay for it, some people like Chris Archie said he'd be willing to pay $15 for the Old Servers back. You guys got your wish ON TOP of 1 month free membership. And yet here we are, with all these posts about quitting. Can you not be happy? Seriously, Jagex has been working around the clock to run these Old School servers and it's not free for them.

And Let's all be honest here. If you aren't willing to pay $5, then quit. Clearly you obviously aren't dedicated enough as you said you were. Maybe Jagex will bump the votes but if they don't, for the sake of everyone, stop your complaining. Jagex has already done the best that they can do with the resources they have. If YOU want to quit, then quit. If you want to pay, then pay. Simple as that.

Too Long;Didn't Read: If you aren't willing to pay $5, then clearly you aren't dedicated to the old servers so stop complaining.



I know they do have votes to reach "Levels" on this which means it will get better and better but, Some People Including me Have been wanting this Game back for so long and now when we finally got it people are saying they want to quit if it doesn't become Free? C'mon That's just silly.

 

As long as I don't have to fund EOShit I'd be more than willing.

 

It's not -just- $5. If I could pay to solely RS07 I would and I would be more than happy to pay $5 for that. Instead, I have to pay for regular membership -as well as- the extra $5 for RS07? What happens to people who want a main and a pure? What about a main, a pure, and a skiller? It adds up.

They have said they are charging no extra fee so it will be the 7.50 or whatever it is monthly
