Nice, you can't go 4-Way SLI with Titan, it's up to 3.

Probably a vanilla hackintosh with Apple Thunderbolt Display (ridiculously overpriced!) or a maxed out 27 inch iMac (ridiculously overpriced, again!). I don't play any games besides..., no I don't play any at all, now that I'd quit RS. I also prefer OS X to Windows for everyday, casual tasks. As for the peripherals, I'd go with the Logitech Solar Keyboard Or-Whatever-It's-Called, the Magic TrackPad, some good speakers (preferably Denon or Harman Kardon) and the latest Wacom Intuos tablet. Feel free to hate ;).

FOR A DESKTOP??? Yeah good luck with that case, unless you got a custom built case or a super tower.
This list looks like you just went to newegg, looked in each catagory and put price highest to lowest.. The mother board you picked, has a max of 96 gb of ram. It only allows 2 proccessors, you have 3. I don't mean to be a buzzkill but yeah.

I picked two Xeon's not 3, and picked 96GB of RAM. Did nothing wrong, I said money is no problem. So,I guess it's fine, for sure it's OVERKILL! but, yeah money is no probs!
EDIT: yeah, the Cosmos is huge ass, I'd wait for the 900D from Corsair, it's a killa

Well if money was no object... It WOULD fit in my home. LOL. Just saying. :p

In reality I built one a while ago for shits and giggles... but I need to actually go back and build it (again).

    Essentially this:

Except 3 of the 4TB HDDs

and 4 of the GFX cards (the cards are designed for people that do high-end GFX & 3D rendering... In other words mashes Titan 4x over)...

and possibly more of the SSDs if I figured out how to daisy-raid (like you could with the old PATA drives if anyone remembers).

Total turns out to be ~ $34849.75. That's before liquid cooling and case (or if I'm really going for the high-end OCing a dry-freezer)... And that's also missing monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, surround sound system, sound card, etc.

You bought 12 hard drives but that motherboard only has 6 sata connections, thats not counting the 2 blu ray drives you added. It does seem like you just went with the most expensive parts possible and didn't think it through. Didn't even get a raid card, and why would you go for the 840's as your SSD Raid solution? NAND based SSD's are inferior....

The Quadro 6000 is just a gtx 470 with different drivers. The Titan is the single most powerful graphics card out there at the moment.

    OK, then I'd go with 1 4TB drive, 1 Blu-Ray 4 SSD's

more of a laptop guy myself, mobility is a must for me..

I would go for the Sager NP9570 fully outfitted. It utilizes a desktop CPU on an x79 MOBO

    i7 3970xm hexa-core desktop cpu
    SLI Nvidia GTX 680m's
    16 GB QUAD-channel DDR3 RAM
    3x Intel 520 480gb SSD's setup in RAID-0

This is, by far, the most powerful laptop in existence. Would love to have one...I doubt there is anything that it cant handle! IF for some reason you needed more graphical power than the mobility chips can provide, you can run an e-GPU setup and utilize desktop cards aswell. It would defeat the portability of a laptop, but the option is there!

Actually takes up more room, because you will have to have a pump, reservoir, all of the tubing, then if you go with compression fittings over barb fittings thats more space right there. Then you have your rads, usually a good watercooling setup will include 2 radiators at least a 360 and a 240 at the minimum I would recommend a 480 and 360.

But thats why when you watercool you truly are a modder, because you have to get all of that to fit in your PC by modding while still keeping tabs on aesthetics.
