Why The Hell Is Runescape 07' Gold so expensive?

I heard that its like 0.50/k. Why is it so expensive? What is so hard about getting gold?

 

Because the game was just released and no one has any money.

 

There isn't much money in the economy. It's interesting to play a game right from the start....now ik how those classics noobs must have felt

 

It's all about supply and demand. There's a low supply and a HUGE demand.

 

Pretty much commen sense. Its because theres not alot of money economy.
The games fresh and is at a new start.
If you had 250K you would be considied pretty rich. i mean people are playing for hours making 5-15K currently as time goes on the GP prices will change with the GP in the economy.

 

The prices will lower as the game goes on, if you were around when the real runescape started, this is how the prices were.

It's like anything. A new call of duty comes out, prices are high as demand his high. When demand drops the price drops, and that will be the same situation here. Supply < Demand, unlike in eoc where supply > demand.

 

That applies to everything. And no, you can't just pick 'some flax' and make bank. As said, the economy is progressing, and once the game matures the price of gold will drop; as supply should increase stabilising the demand.

 

Its insane right now, you can make $5 running through the stronghold of security lmao. There are plenty of 100k/hr methods which would be like $50+ an hour...

 

No u couldn't go pick a ton of flax to make a massive bank. simple reason being people dont have the money to buy it. You could stock up on a mass amount of flax for when more money is generated into the game, but even then remember GP value wont be as high as it currently is.

It's because now in oldschool servers is not that much gold, maybe you noticed that price of oldschool gp drops day by day more. It'll come to point where it'll be near that cheap as RSGP. Maybe abit more expensive because there's less inflation

 

Recently the price has been dropping fairly steadily though. I have seen people in game with a few million in GP.

 

Prices have gone from $1/k to $.49/k now and dropping...best if you're selling and not reselling, as prices are way too unstable at the moment.

Its cheap now since there is millions in it now.

 

It's because inflation like crazy because it just cam out, total gold in game is going up at least 15% a day. And with eocscape it's been out for decade and a half with total gp in game going up a fraction of a percent a day
