Veteran minirank/badge/status?

Support, I'd like this.

 

This isn't a bad idea... but I don't know about a minirank for it. We haven't even updated the rest of them yet. A badge sounds like a better idea.

Full support on this If you manage to stay on this site, and maybe have an activity requirement like..1k posts or something? maybe like 500 idk but this would be a good reward for being a loyal member for 5+ years.

 

i support veteran minirank status it is a good idea i have seen it over many differnt sserver's and forum's and it has been very sucsessful i agree with this support

 

I like the idea.

Sure, there is a joindate, but having a flashy mini rank is 10x cooler than a join date.

Plus it sets the vets apart from newer users.

Regardless, I don't see any harm in supporting those who have been a registered member for a while, however a requirement should be activity.

 

Having a ton of posts doesn't make you a veteran. Only join date and years of experience in being involved in the community can do that.

Sure, you can post 10k times, in a year or two, but it doesn't mean that you've been here since sythe was extremely popular to it's low point and soon to be on the rise again with the release of an official 2007 server by Jagex.

 

No support, we have a join date right above the miniranks, it'd be as pointless as having one for postcount.

I think that veteran status should not just be associated w/ joindate, but activity as well.

If this were to be implemented, I personally would want to see this added to the "auto-grant" list along w/ a requirement of say.... ~50-100 posts/month, and a join date of somewhere between '07-'09... Not really sure where within those years, though....

Didn't see that. Maybe. I'd still want an activity stipulation associated w/ it though regardless.

 

What if you have activity on multiple accounts and you couldn't be on original account because you were evading a BS ban yet you still racked up 6k-8k posts between multiple accounts?
