Removal Of Upper Spam section

I am suggesting we just go ahead and remove the upper spam forum section as to it is dead anyways.

 

As I posted on the other requirements thread, I fully support. People want requirements raised when it's dead as it is. Either lower them substantially or abolish the entire section, and I think the abolition would be much easier.

 

Nah, no support here. I like the idea of accessing another section that is exclusive only to certain people. It's not doing any harm anyways.

 

Support. Upper SF is dead, and the idea didn't have much support in the first place.

No offense, but you dont even post in the regular SF and if you paid any attention to the "upper" spam forum you would realize it is the absolutely most dead subsection on the entire site. Its a waste of space.

I am just saying that if it isn't being used we should remove it and possibly come up with something for it's place.

 

No support why remove something that's in the spam forum. It's not like it on the front page or cluttering up space. Just leave it.

 

Read the thread where sythe suggested it. No one supported it then (with entrance based on PC) and no one posts in it now. It gets like 1 thread per week made.

Besides if i wanted too postwhore 2500 posts to join some dead section everyone could see i easily could, as could anyone else. It's not being used, the end. There is absolutely no need to divide the SF into multiple sections.

 

It is in the spam forum, it doesn't effect anyone. No support.

 

Just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not in the know how of things. I lurk the SF, and used to frequently post there years back. No, it's not the most dead subsection either.

It is being used, just not as much as other forums. You seem to be bent on removing sections from Sythe, which isn't a problem, but this time it doesn't even affect you.

 

Why do you say I am bent on removing sections? There has been one other section and that section is dead literally, I don't understand the big deal.

It's fine as is, but I am not bothered if it stays or goes. It's not really in the way but it doesn't really have a purpose either.

I personally would say it is being used but to a very small amount.

 

No Support for removal, but i do support changing it from 2500 post to a 3 or so year join date. This would make the section way more active than it is now.

 

People might actually use it if the requirement were join date based, because then it'd be a vet forum instead of a postwhore forum.

 

No support. Join date instead of post count is all that needs to be changed.

This, if the requirements are going to be the same (2500 posts) then remove it as it's not even an upper spam forum, it's for post whores.

 

What all these guys said. Change it to 3-4 years requirement or something and remove the post count requirement. That would be a lot better and - hopefully - would make the section more interesting.
