2007 RuneScape: staking

This is the 2007Scape thread of staking. Discuss all of staking here.

...And I'll start then.
I plan on training an 99attack/99strength/99defence/99healthpoints account, for boxing of course. Not sure whether that would be an good idea in the start as there must first come gold into the game, and there won't be too many other maxed boxers. Probably will take some time until maxed boxing becomes active again.
What sort of staker are you going to make, or are you going to stake at all?

 

People will need to gain nice amount of wealth before they consider staking.

It will be a long time until there is a stable staking economy. But staking is my favorite thing along with pking so you will see a lot of staking from this guy

 

Yeah guys that's what I said, gold must be generated first before staking comes alive.

 

Staking/boxing won't be around until wealth is getting chucked around the game. It'll be pretty dead for a while. However, I reckon a maxed zerker will be the best method.

 

I don't think wealth in game matters, since at the start a 10k stake would probably be considered a fairly large stake. The problem is no one will want to stake because no one will know their opponents real stats (or do they show levels below 30 on highscore?)

Atleast quick chat won't be around. That shit would really get on my nerves when people would refuse to stake if you didn't qc all your levels.

 

yeaaa, time to make 2 accounts, same combat level, hard to look up names or one name looks like another, can't wait, defense poisoned weps all da way!

 

The best part is classic DDS staking will be back, which was way better then SOL and shit which ruined it.

 

Proud to say I've never had an SOL stake, only boxing and DDS.
