In need of inspiration! [Controller Art Contest]

Controller Art Contest

Ok guys. Out of boredom today I seek some ideas from my fellow Sythe members.

I am looking to see what you guys would like to see on your controllers if you could have a controller designed to your specs.

So I will be holding a small competition. Design a controller in the program paint laying out what you would like to see. Colors, Image Placement etc.

Things I can edit as of now: Controller Shell, Battery Pack, Buttons, Triggers, and the base of the thumbsticks [plastic].

I am looking for creativity and will reward the user with the best submission with a free custom shell of their design!

I know this is not alot of time, but I will have this open for 4 hours after this post goes live.

Since I know you're starting up a female controller mod company, I figured this might be a nice place to start.



Can change the middle name to whomever it is for.



Sorry the back is blury... Resolution from the picture wasn't great. The middle item would be wrapped around the back of the battery pack... and thus look slightly different than it does.

NOTE: These are using some old renders I made a while ago.

 

That is pretty good. Though the render part would be a tad hard to replicate.

Try to keep the designs simplistic. Think more like Logos, Silhouettes etc.

 

I could provide you with the originals of the renders, including the C4D files I have if you would like.

I wasn't just dropping you something that would be impossible to replicate. If you liked it I would provide you with the proper materials. ^_^

 

We shall see.

With everyone in the graphics section of our forums, there should be more entries... but who knows. >_<

 

Thats what I am hoping for. Even simplistic logos are good.

 

Oviously doesnt have to be the exact same but

Buttons: Crimson + Dark Purple
L+R Triggers: Dark Purple
Joysticks: Bright Red
Back Button: Bright Red
Start Button: Dark Purple
D-Pad: Dark Purple
Top Buttons: Crimson
Skull in the center of the controller on both sides
Flames going up the sides of the controller on both sides.

I will be extending this to 11:59 pm EST since I have some things to do around the house.

 

Idk if you know the company called "evil controllers" you can go on their site and play around with colors for your custom controller if you want to see how your controller would come out go check their! you can gret inspirtation just play around with the colors and look and you can add your own spin to it yourself

Obviously just a mock-up. Can change out the colours on the joysticks and whatnot as well.

I would do more but I need to knock out work for school...

 

Well the inspiration was just something to put as a title. Honestly I am bored and would like to incorporate my passion with sythe. I am actually working on a controller now.

 

I'll make an entry for this reserved spot.
