XP rates on Old Servers

I feel like if they did implement this, it would be no better than a private server
unless they did it for a small period of time or sort of a double xp weekend type of thing.

Who gives a Damn if some asswipes cant be bothered to level again... im saying i have spent time on my main, but this experience is amazing..dont change it.

 

When i first read this i thought it was fake. Jagex is turning into the company they swore never to turn into. They are like your brother who swore he would never touch drugs or alcohol then becomes a raging alcoholic with a slight crack addiction who beats his wife and doesn't want to pay for his ex wifes child support.

 

I don't see the big deal, tbh. It will be the same experience, except it will just be a bit quicker. I think Jagex realizes that most of the people coming back are now much older and have responsibilities. I would actually like this.


I figured Jagex was going to give us something to start up the 07 economy a little quicker. This would probably be a good addition, although I was hoping for something like bigger drop rate.

 

I would say yes and no for a good idea. It would be good for maybe just a weekend or so or just a day to help jump start. But other than that it would be a terrible idea. It'll just help some people get a higher fishing level quicker to make more money and start the economy quicker instead of waiting till like the first week for a cooked lob to finally sell

Someone gets a 99.. and ill say idc the exp was accelerated.. no real achievement.. F that imo.

 

It depends on the rate really. One part of me says fuck that but then again there's going to be so many less active players if they have to level up from scratch not to mention xp was a lot slower back in 2007. I'd support like double or triple xp for the month or whatever but not sure what my opinion is about it being a permanent thing.

 

I know what you mean. I would prefer it if they only did it for the first week or something. It would really help speed things up, especially for skills like herblore.

 

But it's going to take so long to get 126 combat and when you finally do there's probably not going to many other people at your level to pk against. I'm just afraid that the servers will quickly become dead because people don't want to take months upon months to level up a good account.

 

Yea, I know what you mean, but most pkers won't be 126 anyways. I'm all for this, though. I would really love it if it were temporary, but I'm not complaining about higher rates. 1.5x-2x would be perfect.

 

1.5-2x would be alright since Eoc's rates with all the new training methods are probably 3-4x faster then most 2007 methods.

 

Accelerated gain would be fucking dumb. Everyone would have 85 slayer really quick and there would be no cash made from it, gold would crash and the game wouldn't be good. PK accounts could be made in a day. Fuck that.

 

Wow they are already considering ruining it before it is even released.

 

So its not officially confirmed, but one may assume from general consensus like jagex likes to take from anymore that since everyone wanted standard exp rates thats what we will get.

 

i think they are just trying to help but cmon....anyway i think the best idea would be to just import your stats on an account or just restart from level one we should have a choice

 

Bad idea... The high levels would then dominate the economy...

I think slightly increased xp rates would be good.. Make it the same as to days xp/hr

But then who gives a shit we are all in the same boat so what does this matter

 

No accelerated xp, no bonus xp weekends, no bonus xp lamps, NO!

 

^I dont see what youre freaking out about I am positive most things will be normal and since I doubt we will hit the required number for updates well have to bide our time.

 

I have come to accept that Jagex will ruin everything they ever do.
