Include e-whoring as a bannable offense.

I'm proposing to officially add e-whoring to the list of bannable offenses. People have been twc'ed (sarune) and I'm sure banned for the scams associated with e-whoring, I'm making the proposal to add it to the list to eliminate any and all grey areas pertaining to it.

E-whoring is scamming in a very basic form, you lie about being a girl for monetary gain (often asking for money to "cam" or send pics) or just lying and preying on beta guys generosity and desperation for "female" attention. Now I know that this probably wouldn't be a common occurrence catching people for the offense but I have seen someone claiming to be a 16 year old girl openly admitting to e-whoring and even posting screenshots asking for money to "cam" which HE has no intention of doing. There has also been a lot of unsubstantiated claims made against others concerning e-whoring by various members of the community, this is a relevant issue and deserves some acknowledgement. I feel without a doubt someone who would do this so called "e-whoring" scam that they would potentially scam in other ways in the future and feel it is only a matter of time before they do so.

This to me qualifies as off-site scamming, I'd just like to make it official so I can get this sleazebag hammered (and future "e-whores" banned as well). Thoughts and opinions on the matter ?

 

Hahaha no, I really dont like someone who openly admitted to e-whoring (on site mind you) and even posted screenshots bragging and i'd like to see him hammered lol. I wouldn't fall for so called "e-whores" there are plenty of girls who actually will deliver cam shows and whatnot for money if I were the type to pursue such things (and I'm not, porn is free buddy).

Support. If someone were to lie about their gender for irl gp then that should go with punishment, just the same as if someone were to chargeback on PayPal. Even if a girl were to e-whore around for the profit, then that's just as bad. Like lol, that ruins the name of girls on the Internet.

if i was dead serious about e-whoring i would have made another account called it a more 'legit' name other than zRainbow Dash and gone to craiglists or smth not a virtual craigslist and a botting site (only ever put my skype on here and powerbot) so i figured it was just some fagg on here trolling so thought i'd go along with it (hence the threads name: stop adding me)

Regardless, if you don't have anything OT to say please stay off the thread. Your e-whoring exploits isn't the only thing this is about, I have seen other users TwC'ed over "e-whoring". Without some sort of acknowledgement by staff regarding the rules on it this could be seen as a grey area and a safe haven for scams to occur.

E-whoring pretending to be the opposite gender to get money out of others is deception and therefor a scam.

Should be a ban-able offense. Plus its just fucking pathetic.

 

If someone lies about their age/gender, let them. I don't think it should really be bannable. It's fucking pathetic, I know, but it's even more pathetic for someone to fall for it and give money to the person that's e-whoring.

All in all, people should learn to learn from their mistakes to be honest.

I agree with this to an extent, till they start lying about their ages and genders to manipulate and scam people out of money and or gp ect.

I'd love to see you banned it's true and when and IF this takes off i will make a report. In the meantime its a suggestion not a report and there is nothing to defend against. I have a strong feeling you wouldn't have posted joke responses if he were more receptive to actually sending you money. Failed e-whoring is still e-whoring. Don't be so vain to think that i made this thread entirely about you, I remember another kid "Sarune" who was twc'ed for admitting to e-whoring in some random thread.
