If you could live in any decade ?

The swinging 60's, the noughties .. it's interesting to think how you might of lived your life, having grown up in a different decade. Everything would of been different no matter where in the world, and in what decade to what it is today.

I personally would of liked to of grown up in the 1990's, I was born in the early 90's but obviously at a young age you can't experience much !
I think the 90's had a edge of simplicity that I really like, and people had a more 'care free' attitude in compassion to now days .. also I wouldn't like to be too far away from technology !

So if you could of lived in any decade, which one would it be and why ?

 

I would have liked to have been born like 5-10 years earlier. To experience the 90's of course and to celebrate the Millenium switch 1999>2000!

And at the same time, I wish i wouldn't have been born for another 10 years, simply to "be part of the future"! Who knows what's coming , living on the moon/mars? daily space travelling ?

 

I wish I got to go clubbing in the 90's, where they played Classic Trance and people went out for the music, meeting people and having fun.

 

Definitely agree with you on the 90's clubbing, had a good scene. I love 90's dance music !

 

I'd like to say an earlier year just because trying to get a job these days is like trying to shit out a gold bar. But I'd have to stick with this decade just because I couldn't live without my iPhone and Internet. I don't rely on my technology but if I didn't have it I'd be bored as hell most of the time.

The 60s seem to be a really cool vintage era. The musical acts around back then were unbelievable as well, not the fake acts of these days like one direction and justin bieber. Back then it was the beatles, elvis, led zeppelin, the rolling stones, pink floyd, the who, and I could go on and on...

 

I often wonder what it would be like to grow up in the 50's and 60's with all the sock hops etc.

Probably in the 70's, maybe 80's or in Ancient Rome lol.

 

If I could live in any it would definitely be something like 200 years into the future, although living in the past would be great, you can read about it in a book... No one knows what will happen in the future, so it would IMO be far more exciting! What would the earth be like? Space travel? And robotic human beings?

Around 1400 years ago. I would be able to see the biggest change in the history of the universe.

The 90's for me. I was born in 1996 but since I was young I didn't experience anything.

 

I would like to have been born in early 60s to live throughout the 70s and 80s as a young adult. My favorite music comes from that section of time and it would have been great to see some of those guys in their prime (or when they were still alive).

 

Hard to say but I'd love to have partied during the 70s and 80s. Would've been quite happy somewhere in the Middle Ages as well, but only if I could retain my current knowledge so I'd know how to avoid being executed, aha.

 

I'm happy with the decade I was born/live in.

 

60's - 70's for Woodstock and that whole era

20's-40's for the adventure and possibilities.

 

The roaring 20s
