What type of account are you first making? [2007 RS]

Pure range 2her. With some mining and fishing.

 

Will be making a pure, what type I'm unsure of yet. Hopefully will be able to bot pretty quickly so I can make accounts for cash for the account

 

60 attack 1 defence pure with 82 mage 85 range something like that simple yet fun to pk with.

 

Maxed tank

or

13 prayer 60 attack rune pure

or

60 attack 70 defence 70 prayer brid

 

Lurer. Oh my god I've been dreaming of this for literally years. Being able to lure again will make me cry irl. 94 mage. Lowest possible combat. Go from there.

 

I'll recreate my main and train it to the stats it is now. Max cape that is.

 

Dat slayer grind. Same here, since the best weapons will be whips.

 

60 Attack pure.

 

Start out with fishing, then cook so I have food to train with. Then get some weapons from various stands. Start slayer immediately while training my way up to 70 range/60 attack/80 str saving mage for last once nats and laws get into the market. If there are bots early on definitely bot runecraftng until I can do laws.

 

Im gonna first make a skiller so i can make my money and food and stuff like that. Then im going to make a main where i can train my combat.

Ive changed my mind. I think I'm going to pick a skill and farm that skill for a good time such as fishing and cooking. People will need sharks and anything below for training and eventually pking and it will be useful to have the stats.

Hate to break it to you but you will need a really high slayer level for mauls and they wont be in the game for some time. The best account to first make will be a 60 attack pure you can eventually turn that into a main etc. However there is no god wars or anything that you really need a main to do shah pures are going to be able to do exactly what a main can do unless they eventually release gws and thats when you upgrade from a pure to a main.

 

I am making a main and so is my best friend. We ran maxxed 60 attack 1 defense pures back in the day that eventually were god sword pures and then chaotic pures. We decided that this time around we would make mains because we never got to experience a lot of the fun stuff in runescape due to our utter devotion to purity.

I look forward to bossing, high lvl pking, bridding at mage bank, using lunar spells, getting barrows gloves, WEARING VOID, etc.........

 

Main or pure, have like 10 hours to decide :/

Way I see it, if you want to make a pure later it will be easier and faster so you might as well just start with a main either way. With a main you will quickly get higher combat than most pures that exist allowing you to train on NPC's that far less of the community have the ability to kill. With 50 worlds this means you could easily get to a point where there is no competition for your training spot and if you do slayer as well you will also be making a ton of money.

If you DO decide to make a pure later you will be able to fund it easily with your high level main, things that you will need will be much cheaper (prices will be pretty settled at this point) so you will be able to just buy all the supplies you need and make your pure competitive within a matter of a few weeks or less depending on how much time you have to commit. Also if you ever need more money, you will always have the cash-cow that is your high level (and hopefully decent slayer) main.

 

Mains are the exact same as pures. I can do just about anything you can do on a main. Starting off as a pure is an solid idea.
