What are some of your best 2007 and pre 2007 members?

I remember the first time I became a member and discovered there was more to runescape then lumby, varrock, edge, fally. A friend walked me to seers village and I was amazed at the time. I started going to all the drop parties on top of seers bank and in the drop party room. Ended up getting 1k blood runes and sold them for 500k, was a highlight at the time I was like level 65.

 

To be honest the best memories for me were playing with people from school, and not having that '99 rush' feeling, and being able to play the game casually. With the birth of skillcapes though, kinda ruined that feeling.

 

the year was 2006 and I was on my main which was then around level 10-15 and I was in varrock, i remember it was the only time I remember seeing the trading places in varry, i had SOMEHOW gotten 150k and i was like feeling like a god... i was so riich.. I was so happy! Having a fortune.. I was a freaking noob tho there is no way in hell that I sold stuff for it, someone must have given me it, but ye... i spent it on some shit or maybe got scamed i can't remember xD but it was a great time.

Another time i died with 3k and i felt like i lost everything... i was so pissed. i lost it on the bridge to wizards tower.

 

How did u die there?

 

Another memory was strolling around f2p in full Gilded armour, since so many people were clueless as to what it was, and getting a shitload of attention.

 

I remember the first time I made my first mil. I was so happy it was insane. Now I sell bils lol

 

Monkey Madness was a fun quest

 

I remember achieving my first rune item in f2p in 2005 and feeling like a boss, i always looked up to people with full rune thinking what the fuck, rich people how do you ever make that much money... then after ages of noobing around i managed to get a rune scimitar whilst wearing fully adamant with a mithril body, and upon that day, many brix were shat.

And i remember my friend convincing me to upgrade to p2p because she did and said it was amazing, so i reluctantly did, discovered flax, picked 2k flax and bought myself a full rune set that same day and was like !!!!!!!!

 

I remember saying selling Santa hat for 100k because I wanted to see how many people had that much money lol.

 

I remember i stumbled acrost this "Gold selling website" i forget the name but i found out about the "Dark bow" from all the pk videos and amazing hits people hit with it, so i spent like 4 hours killing my friend in the duel area training my range to get to 60, and i purchased 2m gold from this website, and felt so damn rich, now i'v hade upwards of 400m at one time

Dark bows were a god weapon to use back then especially for pures

 

An old video of mine, i don't even know the password to this youtube account anymore. The Elvemage one was me and my friend on his account and most of the screenshots are from 2007. I'm so excited for this server

 

I used to merchant dragon arrows and darts at the fally center statue and sell them at the duel arena. buy for 2-2.2k for arrows and sell for 3k. Bank was made. 1 of many.

 

Bank sales are from back in the day. If you don't remember dem bank sales you haven't played real runescape.

My fond memories were me carrying around obscene amounts of food so that I knew I couldn't die, and mining, smelting, smithing, and selling to the gen store for a few thousand gp

 

I was feeling like ths hit getting enough req to go in mining guild.. I mined so much coal there and sold them at falador bank... one time I remember I got scammed. also smelting steel bars and giving my friends full steel + weapons to go PK and we died so quick xD

 

When a guy gave me a Rune scim, Was so happy about it was thinking about the scimmy all the time

 

PKing with my friend and brother with full steel because we were scared of losing Rune, lol.

 

1. Merchanting for months with willow logs
   
2. A smart ass dropped wealthy items infront of me as a game and I managed to pick up his guthix helm - he followed me around for hours pleading for it back
   
3. Just managed to make 1M and fell victim to the Trust Game scam
   
4. Went to a drop party, was standing on a Santa with another person - it appeared and I missed it
