2007 Server Discussion

Yeah, I really hope we can get to 500k but it's not looking hopeful.

It's on track for 250k at the current rate of voting over the past day.

 

250k is OKAY but 500k would be super great, then I'd only need membership, it'd be alot easier... :/

but yeah, it seems to be going faster?!

 

Honestly... I've talked to lots of people i used to play with we are all so excited about playing when we get back.

 

I really hope that the poll hits 250k votes. Not so much that I don't want to pay $10 more per month, but just so there will be many more players.

500k-750k is impossible though unfortunately

Guys, do you think that 2007 servers will compete with Eoc ? like do you think at one point lets say in few months more players will be playing 2007 servers? that would be so crazy jagex are going to flip xD

 

Any guesses on what the exchange rate might be between EOC and 2007 gp? Selling 2007 cash for EOC cash on sythe and vice versa

 

my opinion is its waste of time just stick to Eoc i was actually excited till i heard that you had to make a whole new account that just ruined everything for me but Other peopels might enjoy the 07 servers.

Never expected Jagex to do this.

I used to think that Runescape was destined to die soon after Eoc, but now I think it has a much greater chance of survival for a much longer time if jagex plays this correctly. They must have got quite desperate to have actually done this.

 

Almost at 200k, 250k is looking brighter, 500k still bleak unless some kind of huge advertising campaign takes shape and brings in a lot of voters (not likely but possible)

 

I think it will have about 300 - 320k when the poll closes.

Because there has been a glitch found in the voting system I wouldn't be surprised if jagex were to be really nooby and restart the voting glitch free. I'd love to see it get 500k.

 

well really happy that there will be servers but what happens to the game we got 2007 and 2013(eoc) servers ... the game is divided in 2. also you have to pay more to play the older version ?!?!? lol

 

I was thinking this earlier. As soon as they notice the voting isn't 100% legit I think that they may reset the votes with the glitch fixed.

 

This is what I don't like. I don't want to play on the EoC servers, I only want to play on the 2007 servers. I would be the most happy if it was just launched as a completely different entity to EoC, with it's classic homepage, like this, and the old login system. I don't like logging into RS with emails :'(

 

I'm wondering if fansites like runehq tipit ect are going to bring back the quest guides for the 2007 version of the game. Also how do you think prices are going to be established? Just by what people are willing to pay or what?
