how many of you faggots actually were around for RS in 2007?

I started around 2007 too, if not, around 2008. Played for about 1 and half year and got bored, quit. Left accounts to collect dust until one day I looked around to sell them and found Sythe. Have never gone back to RuneScape and won't even after the release of 2007 server as I've grown from those days where I would sit for hours to play a game that doesn't benefit me in anyway. I know you can play for fun but it's not even that fun nor healthy.

 

It's just the nostalgia. When you sit down and play '07 servers a lot of memories will rush through your mind, at least they will mine because I had so many!

 

Played since 2004. Going to play this 2007 server purely for nostalgic purposes.

Played since classic, longest stretch between '05 and '10

 

I started playing in late 2001. One of my accounts still has recoveries set to Feb 2002 when recoveries first came out (I think was around same time as membership not 100% sure).

 

started in '04 quit in late 06'/07' the last skill i remember was farming or construction whatever came last so probs '06 actually

then returned in '08 for about a year during no free trade quit after about a year or so

then when free trade was announced the returned for a bit under a year but mostly just botted and now i havent played for years

imo the best years were 05' - '06

and ill get flak for this but runecrafting was the last legit skill.

slayer is really shallow and pointless of a skill if u think about it lol

Exactly what I said, and so many others will do the same. I also think that the EoC players will take one look at it and laugh at it. However for me it is not about the PK'ing or pure accounts, it's simply the memories and everything that I experienced on the old game.

 

Are you kidding me? Grand Exchange was one of the greatest updates of all time. Instead of taking 5 hours to gather quest items, you could buy them all in a few minutes. While it's debatable if this is better or not, I thought it was extremely beneficial for everyone to have better accessibility to items. Instead of standing near Varrock bank trying to sell yew logs for hours, I could just leave them in G.E and wait for them to sell.

Also, one of the main reasons why RS was more fun in 2006/7 was because of the people. It's hard to make up for that fact.

 

Been playing since 02 or 03. Since the ge I have only played in spurts. Never as constant as before.

 

Started playing a few days before the rubber chicken came out. 2006 or 05? Not sure. I'm 23 years old now and not sure why I'm excited for 07 RS to come back. I guess because I loved merching before GE so much.

Joined rs in 2003 and quit in early 2009 for rsps's. Then I started playing rs again in late 2011 and then quit yet again because of eoc.

 

Playing since 04 Long time ago ^.^ just quest now in 2013.
