Making an announcement about it sounds good.

How do you know there aren't that many active? We honestly don't know their numbers, We should just sit back and spread the word and hope for the best. We know that the server is coming for sure.

The goal of the announcement to get the message across to members and viewers and inform of the situation. Even leechers may come across it, become intrigued by the change occuring and go vote.

You just have to hope that the information is being spread as far as possible for an increased chance of hitting a higher target on the poll.

 

Guys, they post theirselves they have 8 million active, playing, members a week.
So we do know how much players they have +-

And support, it would be good to have an announcement.

 

I dont really understand how making an announcement is playing favourites, jagex is going to make seperate servers for runecsape 2007 so its not like theyre completely changing the main game..
