Lol they won't need to add votes to get to 250k >.<

 

You never know. No way to tell, as it's not an independent company hosting the votes. Jagex could do whatever they want to the votes lol (conspiracy theories OP).

 

Voting has hit a wall..not good.

 

guys its not going to happen how you want it to. i really wish it will but jagex knows the game theyre playing. theyre hyping us up at a time where nobody plays because they need more players and money so they pulled out this card. you wouldnt hear nothing about this in 2010 because they had millions of members. heres a fact, only about 1m members play rs its on highscores and rswiki and who knows how many will be on to vote in the timeframe. so we need over 50% to vote within the next 2 weeks or were screwed. the peak amount of votes will be the first 24-48 hours. we pretty much cleared the hour mark and were only around 15% in. jagex knew it would be unlikely to hit 500k and they knew it would hit at least 50k so they made their mark for the extra 5 dollar payment. they knew nobody would pay 15 and they knew not enough people would vote to make it free is basically what im saying. so it looks like we will be paying extra $5. jagex always has a catch to their games. it really pisses me off. but i gurantee people will fork over that extra 5 without batting an eye and they know it because everyone wants it so badly. just think about it. they could care less about us they knew the goal would land right past 250k but wouldnt reach 500k so they know they will be making extra cash to keep rs up. if you really look at it, theyre pulling out their last cards, theyre hanging by a thread. this entire time everyone has bitched about bringing old rs back yet they did nothing when alot of ppl played cuz they had alot of money. now nobody plays and its hurting them so they have no choice but to play this card but their hand always wins. they set an impossible goal. i hope for the sake of everyone that it hits at least 500k. this has been my dream for years but honestly it will be near impossible and if this doesnt hit 500k i think i may quit. i just cant stand how jagex plays this game that the masses will never win. they tease us with what we want but always have catch.

 

Jagex could even make it so that votes aren't always counted so they get more money..

 

nooooo we're stuck at fucking 112k !!!!! WE'LL NEVER REACH 500/750K.
I'm really sorry... we'll probably get 170k and then 2 weeks are up.

I'm not paying 3000 icelandic kronur each month for membership + old rs. I'd rather just quit. They will have to lower the limits if they want people to pay for old rs.....

 

We will hit 250k I'm sure, but 500k/750k definitely looking impossible right now

 

250k seems like a reachable goal considering we're basically half way there, I'm glad we at least already hit the 50k mark, but I'd like to have a team working on this. Hoping Jagex will remove all forms of gambling and crack down on irc gamblers, I personally gamble in rs now, but I'd like to revisit the old days.

 

Realistically 250K is very reachable taken the current status of the poll. The 50K mark is great however I would much rather see us at the 250K or maybe the 500K which again is doable. There is a thread by Zerkerfist stating (with pictures) that if we get the 500K we will now be getting the '07 servers for free which is great.

I'm not sure what Jagex will do with gambling in these servers. I think it will be a thinking point for Jagex at some point, whether they'll take action on it is up to them and unknown to us at this point.

Holding my heart for 250k, I really hope we'll reach that.

 

I know exactly How you feel I have been keeping track with this as I play borderlands 2. =] I have hopes that it will Pick up we Have two weeks and word still has to spread and some people are lazy and will probably wait till we hit the 250k mark or are like me and between paychecks XD

 

An honest question: would Grand Exchange exist in the 2007 servers? I think it would feel much more old school and authentic if it didn't.

I think it will reach 250k after all but definitely not 500k. In the end jagex will probably make it free to play for existing members anyway because why not.

It won't hit 750K, most likely won't even hit 500k which is kind of sad, because I am really looking forward in playing it since I started out in 07 or 06.

The reason free trade and wildy got like 1 million votes in the first day was because it wasn't restricted to members only like this is. All you had to do was sign into any account and vote.

 

Yup, I can see it with my eyes, we will get from 270-320 maybe.

 

Do you guys think there will be like 20+ worlds or just a few?

 

Just realized there will be a dragon fire shield and barrows is going to be good money again.
