Price of current RSGP

Will the price of the current RSGP drop because of the new servers? I assume a lot of people will put their focus into the new servers, so a lot of the attention could (will) go off the current RuneScape.

Also, what will the prices of the 2007 server gold? I'm assuming it's going to be ridiculously expensive for the first few days (up to $30/m) but will rapidly drop as more gold enters the economy, guessing will probably steady out at about $5/m and slowly drop from there.

$30/mil is a great exaggeration and if it really is, it will not stay there for long...

 

It's definitely possible. Also, yeah, they've announced that everyone is indeed starting completely fresh on the 2007 server.

 

Indeed, quite a bit of people have already thought of botting, others probably a bot farm. Not going to be anywhere close as it is now, but it will be rather high. Especially since it will most likely have more active players. And if the main server gets less active players, well, the prices would eventually hit .2/M

 

I recon the RSGP prices will drop down to like .15/m due to people just whoring out buying the 2007 Gp

 

L, this. Maybe .80/m like it was back when free trade first came back, $30/mil is just insane lol.

 

It's a pretty big possibility because some players may just leave the EoC and only focus purely on the '07 servers (I will be doing this). This will cause the price of the current servers GP prices to decrease.

Thing is though, gold could be $30/m to start, as there's no GE as far as I know, so money will come from like, fishing and cutting logs

 

The prices for 07 are going to be through the roof I am not even going to attempt to get into it until after it has evened out somewhat

 

Back in 2006, When the average phat prices were at about 120m-Purple to 350m-Blue. Prices were at 5€/mil(7$). I sold 250m back then to ppl in my school for that price and at the time there was already quiet a bit of gold in the game(but nobody was speaking about max cash yet back then).

So it is possible that the first couple mills will go for 10$/mil, maybe more. It's also depending on howmuch people are willing to pay for it .

Yes but it's already guaranteed to return. The main difference with a higher amount of votes is the allocation of Jagex resources, and the membership fee.

 

Well, you gotta realize that absolutely any account could vote for free trade. Jagex was positive they were bringing it back, they just feigned a poll to allow the players to choose. With the '07 servers, you have to be a paying member to vote, and you can only vote once. Naturally the voting would be slower.


Also, more votes will equal significantly cheaper GP prices for the '07 servers, and cheaper prices for the main servers.

 

The servers are coming out for sure and i am sure the price of gold is going to be insanly high because it is going to have to be made off of skills

 

I'm guessing prices will start pretty high, I'm almost willing to bet $10/m to begin with, who knows maybe more.
