2007 Builds

So...what kind of accounts will you all be making? i started playing the game around then so i'm not too sure as to what weapons were solid in the game at the time.

All i know is i want to make a pure, then turn it into a zerker.

Was void in the game at the time?

EDIT: Do you think ALL names will be available upon release of the game servers?

Will it be name login or email?

If you have the chance to get a name for 2007, what name would you choose ONLY 1.

 

I can bet that the majority will be making pures. If I do decide to make one, which I'm not 100% about yet, it'd be a zerker. I wonder if I could make a fortune questing on the old servers

 

I won't be messing around with pures, although they might be fun.

I'd be willing to help you if you would need some help, but i think a zerker would be the most fun, i enjoy pure pking it's just a bit too fast paced and you get very little look, zerks you at least get rune etc.

how does everyone think they will get items into the game? how will there be anything when they 1st make it

 

Some people will bot the hell out of skills to get some cash, more than likely fishing/woodcutting. Selling to general stores to get cash, and then eventually trading once people get cash. It'll take a while.

 

Void uhm? I'm not sure to be honest, Pest control however was added in like 2005-2006? So I think the answer is yes? I only remember doing pest control to get 94 magic(for barrage) as it was the best way to get to 94 back then.

 

I'll be playing as a main. I'm going to be shooting for Abby Demons as fast as I can. Whips will have some pretty outrageous prices. Well, whips and Barrows gear I think. Oh man, and the D chain as well.... I'm getting so giddy thinking about it.

Yes, Void gear was added mid 2007.

it's all starting clean for everyone right? honestly ill give it a shot and just make a shitty main account lol.

 

There'd be someone with a bot that could beat a legit player everytime due to hours played. :/

 

My plan is to bot it, few people will have bots I'm guessing as colours are different etc... People who have scripts will keep them private at least for a bit.

 

Haven't played RS for years now, nor checked any info on the game. But it sounds like from this thread that they're bringing RS back in 2007?

 

I'll probably go for maxed combat. I didn't have membership at the time so I wouldn't know much about member servers.

Depends if you want to be a pure,zero, main.

According to the RS wiki, the last full update of RS was August 10th, 2007. GWD was released on the 28th of August. So we have not have AGS, bandos, arma, etc if it's going to be strictly from August 10th and earlier.

I might be making a barrows pure, and use AGS. So psyched. No Korasi, no claws, it'll be glorious.

 

I'd be making a f2p pure, if I start playing it, which I still don't know. I'd spend most of my time merching and flipping.

In 2007 did they still have the unclean herbs and you had to clean them to find out what they were, I remember some good old merch plans

yeah dude i know what you mean the fact i can actually get to make an account build and have it worth my time is getting me giddy as well xD

although if we dont get votes, and the membership price is high, im not sure im willing to pay for 1 month, what i could almost get 3 months for on xbl ya know?

Well, I'm hoping that not only do the current players vote, but older players do as well. I know I've already seen a few people mention getting membership again to vote and they actually have already.

Between the new and the old community, we'll be able to hit 250K easily. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes well over 500k as well to be honest.
