best rapper alive today?

when i ask this i don't mean you know like ice cube or someone like that thats' still living i mean someone who still raps , for me personally it is KENDRICK LAMAR no one can touch him lyraccaly or nas. I just wanna hear your choices and please no ymcmb bullshit -.-

 

Lowkey, he is a brother from UK he is pretty great. Not many people listen to him because people don't like to hear the truth.

but as for Rap Styles P & Meek milll are my 2 favorite current rappers

 

Personally I like Macklemore. He makes humorous songs, but has serious ones as well. He's had a lot of experiences and has a good head on his shoulders for a rapper. I also like how his music isn't just nonsense.

 

If we're talking lyrically, then we're talking Nas, Big Sean, Kanye West, Common, Pusha-T, and Eminem.

Some of these answers are just funny, but what else is new. Kanye, Pusha T, Big Sean? Seriously? No one can touch Kendrick Lamar? Oh please.

I'll have to go with T-Rock. His flow is on another level. He recorded his first album when he was 15 and has made over 20 more since then and they're all awesome. It's absurd that he isn't more well known. There seriously isn't one song of his that I don't like. I don't care whether or not you like his style, but anyone should still be able to admit that this guy is an absolute beast.









Also Cise Star and Akin from CYNE are definitely some of the best lyricalists out there.

 

Eminem is king.

 

curren$y is currently the best lyrical writer today, everyone else is mainstream.

 

Andre 3000 is the best by far. Though Kendrick is one of the best lyricists right now and coming up fast, he hasn't earned that spot yet imo.

No, actually it's a fact. All I said is that they are far from the best. You can disagree all you want, but saying those 3 are the best and throwing them in with Common, Nas, and Em is just plain funny. Your opinion doesn't mean shit to me when it's so ridiculously stupid.

And that has got to be the dumbest thing I've read in a long time. His flow is just a mixture of Twista? So Twista is bad too? Not everyone who raps fast sounds like Twista just because he's the only fast rapper you happen to know. Saying that he's really bad just proves how little you know. You might not like his style, lyrics, beats, whatever, but to say that he's untalented is just moronic. Did you even listen to him or are you just all pissy because of what I said? And actually T-Rock is pretty well known, especially in my hometown. He also got signed to Three Six Mafia when he was 17. There are plenty of rappers who don't get nearly enough recognition who are way more talented than ones who are well known. Just stick to the radio since you clearly base what you listen to on popularity.
