Old servers?

Hey guys, just a quick question! In your opinions, do you think we'll have to restart our accounts from scratch if/when they add new game servers? I mean, i wouldn't mind restarting wealth but cash is a ton different. However.. if they transfered the accounts but not money, all of the non tradeables would be gone too like dg weapons and stuff so that'd suck. Idkk... but let me know what you guys think!

 

I really do hope not. I guess there would be a very complicated process of bringing wealth into the game without bringing newer items in.

 

They'd prolly just roll back the database, and if ur account wasn't created then.. It'd just be new. Idk.. Who knows?

 

Nope, we didn't have to when they bought in the EoC Servers, I reckon the old ones will be the same as they used to be with RS and Combat Beta, just you can switch between both and gain normal xp in both.

 

It will either

A. be just another server you can log into
or
B. Like rs2\rsc they will have you choose which you prefer to play and you can transfer your items\stats etc. over to which ever you prefer which I really hope will be the case as it would hopefully cut the economy in half

 

It would be cool if they started fresh, would give everyone a fair chance into getting ranked and establishing themselves. Transferring over the gold from your current runescape account would be a ridiculous idea, gambling clans would be running the economy. Everything needs to be a fresh start.

 

I need to start playing RS again properly, not just playing to host.

 

I'm not sure. I don't think anyone really knows, however I hope that they completely wipe every item tradeable and we would have to make our own gp again, that would be good fun I think.

 

They would most likely let everything transfer over. It would be in Jagex' best interest to do so.

 

I don't think it's possible if it's an absolute new server hence why you cannot swap and change servers as you please on WoW, but who knows maybe they have something up their sleeve!

 

I certainly hope not. They will most likely allow us to transfer accounts though, as they have done in the past.
